((^^))
The Melody stopped when he put out his arm and stared in wonder at the Cyberman. "John, what exactly is that?" she asked curiously, trying to get a better look.

((Mmm, Cybermen :3))

The Melody's eyes widen in shock and confusion, but she took off after him all the same.

The Melody nodded again, understanding for the most part. The universe was big, and sometimes things happened. That and they were time lords, so therefore they already outlived the human lifeline without a problem."Sorry..."

She nodded. "It's always just been me and Bob, but before he came along, it was just me. If...if you don't mind my asking: what became of them? The way you talk about them is almost sad-like...ya know?"

Tucking her bangs behind her ear, she tilted her head the other way and looked at him quietly. "Not always?"

"I've never tried it on wood," she admitted, holding her hand out for it back.

Full Name: The Melody
Any Nicknames: Uses Melody Grace when needed, simply Melody to some, and once in a while she'll let people call her Mel .
Age: 201
Birthday: June 3rd
Species: Time lord
Occupation: ^
That and finding the one who saved her during the War.
Family: She was raised by Oods most of her life so considers them family. She has no Gallifreyan family that she knows of.
Appearance: For this regeneration - about 5 ft 3, 108 lbs, with medium long dark brown very layered and choppy hair, and blue eyes that change shade depending on the mood or the weather. She likes to wear sweatshirts that are too big with either shorts or skinny jeans. If she doesn't have her sweatshirt, she'll wear something that fits her mood, usually a fit shirt (if that makes sense). For shoes she'll wear flats, converse, or brown combat boots. She always wears her hair down because it doesn't bother staying up. Only sometimes when she's reading will she have it up. She wears glasses and is decently thin. Don't underestimate her, though, because she is stronger than she looks.
Doctor(s) Traveled With: The War Doctor, 10 (as of now).
Personality: Shy most of the time, unless she just feels comfortable around you. If she does and if you get to know her, she's quite weird and outgoing. If her gut gives her the okay, she will trust easily. She hates being mean unless she absolutely has a problem with you. If you have a problem with her, that's not her fault and she won't care. When it comes to forgiving she can be a little slow, unless what's being apologized for wasn't a big deal to her, cause then she shakes it off like it's nothing. She is, however, quick to apologize unless her pride gets in the way (which isn't very often). She's automatically a nervous wreck when it comes to anyone with more than friend-like feelings towards her and it'll take a while for her to calm down and get over it. She tends to keep her feelings (just about all of them but happiness or neautralness) to herself. If she's sad, mad, bothered, in love, or anything of the sort, then you won't notice unless you're paying attention or know her well.
History: When The Melody was still a child during the Time War, a time lord she can't remember (her memory was messed with) brought her to the Horsehead Nebula to be raised by the Oods. He built her her TARDIS and then she has no recollection of him (or her) since. Her TARDIS and her gut - she has a strong one - taught her to drive (the controls on hers are different and simpler) so after passing two regenerations - she's on her third; one got sick and didn't last as long - she left the Oods to go and search for her 'savior.' She's always welcome back, of course. What she doesn't know is that The Doctor was the one that actually saved her, he just forgot after forgetting the part of him that Time Locked Gallifrey.
Relationship Status: Single and she likes it that way.
Sexual Orientation: Straight
Other: Her sonic is an ocarina (limited), and her TARDIS is disguised as a Victorian wardrobe, which was built - not grown - so it also has limitations. She also has a cat, Bob, that just sort of started following her around; he lives in the TARDIS with her.
She called herself The Melody because what is a song without a melody? Just notes. What is life without happiness? Hardly a life at all. Music gives more people than not happiness or something that makes them feel better to a degree. She wants to be that thing, that melody, that makes people feel better because she's sensitive to other people's feelings and has a need to help. Just don't expect her to cry; she isn't very good at that.
I would like to add that The Melody is an actual OC of mine and I would appreciate it if she remained mine and isn't used anywhere for anything by anyone.

"Messes with electronics, mostly, depending on the note played. I think I managed to make someone fall asleep once... I'm still experimenting with it, so I don't know everything about it. Not that I haven't had the time or anything, I just haven't come across the right situations. However, I found that if I brush my finger across this spot here," she turned it over and showed him, "a certain way, it'll allow me to play it without anything happening. That's one of my favorite parts," she smiled.
