Rose laughed with him and looked over his shoulder to figure out where they were, but she ended up spying the Melody. "Um, Doctor...? Who is that?"

The Melody was sitting in the snow making a snowball as she waited.

She stared up at him and shook her head, then laughed with the largest grin anyone had seen with tears in her eyes. "It's really you! The really real you! I thought I'd never see you again..."

((*totally missed your response* XD))

Rose blinked snow out of her eyes and hugged him in return. "Honestly I'm not sure! I was just walking along minding my own business when this - that - weird cloud appeared and then I was here!"

((That's how it usually is. Otherwise they'd label it as child labor. XD))

((I'm fine with it - it's not like you could find me that way, if I don't give names or anything. I work in the floral department in our nearest grocery store. I'm the floral dept manager's back-up as well as an arrangement designer. Sounds easy to a lot of people, but when you get into it, you're proved wrong haha. For your second question, I'm 19.))

((Haha XD I don't have a choice. My mom started taking my stuff until I got a job. Her last resort was my art, and that got on my nerves (I'd honestly just use myself as a canvas if she had). I needed the money anyways, so I got a job. I started out bagging people's groceries, but after a test run in the floral department, the dept manager said he wanted me over there if I would be okay with it. He didn't even interview me lol))

((I know the feel. I walk/bike to and from work, I stand almost all day, I work my butt off (and still have fun, thank God), and I come home and find a list of chores. Cause I'm not tired at all. Er, to walk it takes about 45 min, to bike, perhaps 15 min unless I'm going home, but the way TO work is all downhill, the way home is all uphill. It wouldn't be so bad if I didn't have to do them RIGHT when I got home.))

The Melody stood there awkwardly in the snow, unsure of what to do now. Wait, she supposed, but this was still a little weird...

"Doctor!" she shouted again, and attempted to go a little faster. However, the snow was slippery and it was cold - she slipped, fell on her bum, and slid the rest of the way down. "Whaaa!"

The Melody couldn't help but laugh a little at that. Poor thing was cold, yes, but her little slip was still rather amusing.

"A something, huh? Well then who's that?" she asked, blinking in astonishment at a shivering blond figure making her way down a snowy hill. The girl was covered in snow as if she'd been rolling in it! When she called out the Doctor's name, the Melody was nothing but confused. "Wh- what...?"

((Sounds like my life when I get home from work, if there aren't chores first. XD How's that going though? Band? :3))

She looked back up and nodded. "They obviously have some sort of energy about them... There's bound to be something to read."

((Lightning flash was Rose's entrance, just so you know XD))

((That was quick lol Thought I'd be waiting a few more minutes. ^^))

The Melody's gaze wandered around the snowy ground as she thought. He had a point there. "Well...can you scan it? At least to try figuring out what exactly it is?"

"Only a few? Well what happened then? We can use what you've done before to fix the present."

The sky continued to darken and the strange clouds either moved closer or they grew. Either way, they looked dangerous. There was a flash of lightening a little ways off.

((Sorry, got no notif. But sweeeeet. Do you mind playing her? If not, I can try - I'm just not the greatest at playing other people's characters haha.))

The Melody looked back up at it and shivered. "Well, it's getting dark... If we're going to figure this out we have to hurry before we can't see a thing. So let's start with this: if it was coming from another dimension, what would you do about it?"

((That's fine. Sudden idea though: what if it WAS Rose? On accident, like she just got sucked into it? ...Somehow lol))

"Could be, but it was more of a half-hearted guess than anything. You don't think it really could be coming out of a different dimension...do you?"

She continued to ramble on in her own little world for a moment until she saw his face. "Er, you okay?"

((This'll have to be the last one for tonight. Just got home from my trip, I have work in the morning, and I can't keep my eyes open... And sorry I never returned last time - I ended up falling asleep after our movie. I wouldn't mind a day just dedicated to sleep, ya know? Lol))

"Invisibility cloak...?" she tried, though it was more of a mini joke referencing her favorite book series. "Or maybe it isn't fully developed so it keeps disappearing and reappearing? Wait, no, that sounds like something coming out of another dimension..." She was thinking out loud herself that time.

She blinked. "Ooooookay... How about something new, Captain Obvious? I've personally never seen anything like it."

((I'll be back in a little bit. Gonna go watch a movie with my grandparents.))

The Melody stopped beside him and looked up and around as well with a similar puzzled look. "Well!" she said shortly. "I haven't the faintest idea! What about you?"

((That's where that leap of faith comes in, dearie XD And that's where I've always failed XD))

The Melody excused herself and caught up to him. Unnatural storm? How come they hadn't seen it?

"It appears to be something from the outside. If you look outdoors, the sky colours are dark and strange, not like that of our usual storms."
