((I'm not a time lord nor a mechanic nor a physics master XD It works in my book lol))
The Melody returned to the mob. "Sorry about that - he just doesn't know when to listen, ya know? His way or the highway type thing."

((I lost three old friends when I moved. Well, mostly lost. I have contact with them, we've just sorta gone our own way and don't talk much anymore. It sucks yeah, but I've honestly learned to deal with it - I've switched schools that many times. I'd give advice if I could, I'm just not great at it. If you ever wanna talk though, I'm all ears. :) ))

((I'm always mistaken for being younger than I am haha))
She tried lightening the mood half heartedly. "Hey, I'm only going into a mob of dangerous beings to become their ruler. How bad can it be? Haha...ha... I'll see what I can do." That said she gave a sort of smile and walked back out. She wasn't about to promise a safe return - she didn't know how this would end, and she wasn't about to make a promise she couldn't keep.

((Completely understandable. I've got two friends who's parents don't like me, one of which is moving back to California sometime. This other friend I have is going off to college this fall. I'm in Colorado and she's going to Kansas. I'm gonna be so alone. :/ All my other friends are back in Minnesota, and even the one I have up there have been quiet. It sucks having friends leave, but there's always new people to meet. One of my favorite quotes is "No one can be a replacement for another person, that is why farewells are always difficult." - Kaname Kuran (Vampire Knight).))

((Really?? I thought you were way older haha. But I'll give ya a few words: don't procrastinate, and your last couple years of high school will be over before you know it. I'm talking junior and senior years. They just sorta fly by.))
"No one said you had to like it," she said, digging into her pocket and taking out her sonic. "Lose it and you'll lose something in return. I don't have time to mess with it - they'll be wondering where I've gotten off to." She tossed the device to him.

((I was all like O_o till I read the last one. But nope. Graduated 2014. :) ))

The Melody could have smacked him upside the head. "What exactly does a TARDIS do again?? Go from there. As for being in harm's way, you'd be doing no such thing because I chose it myself. As I said - if you're who the Oods say you are, then I'll hardly have a scratch by the end of this. We're losing time!"

She rolled her eyes. "We don't have
time for a better idea. And that's what I mean. If you don't want me ending up like those tin cans, then
don't let me. While I serve as a distraction, you figure out a way to stop them. I'll buy as much time as I can, but I can only do so much."

((My brother got out today haha. Used to love the last day of school. XD))

The Melody gave a semi stunned look, then sighed tiredly. "Two things, Doctor. One: who are you to decide what I do? And two: I'm counting on you to be the Doctor the Oods say you are. Use your head and let me go. ...Please."

She swatted his hand away without even looking at him and hoped to the stars he understood what she was doing. If not... "A qualifying specimen, then, yes? Why force The Doctor to choose when you could just have me, hm? Much less of a hassle that way, I'd think."

The Melody swallowed but kept her cool. "Oh yeah? Well take a good look; scan me with that "upgraded" technology of yours. Go on! Do it!"

"Why the Doctor? Why not some other...time lord? Or human? Or something?" On the outside she appeared calm, but she could feel her hearts pounding in her chest.

((I'm so sorry. =.= My mom took my tablet and computer (for a reason beyond my understanding). Today I decided I'd be a little rebel. I went to Walmart and bought an iPod capable of Internet lol Which is all fine because I needed a new iPod and this one had the most GB, so... Anyways, I'm still really sorry!!))
"I've just got a question or two, ya know? I can ask a question, right? You know how much I wish you'd say yes?"

She blinked back in surprise at him. "What are
you doing? I said to
stay there!" She shooed him off and turned back to the metal men. "Yoo hoo!! Talkin to ya!"

The Melody sat quietly for a minute or two, then hopped off the railing. "Stay here," she said bluntly, then after grabbing her sweatshirt, she opened the door and left the TARDIS. "Oi! You! Metalhead!" she called to the nearest Cyberman as she zipped it (the sweatshirt) up and shoved her hands into her pockets.

Sighing, she rested her head in her hands. "Great. So they're dead set in this? There's no one else they'd want?"

The female Time Lord blinked. "So...ask for a 'last request.' They'd have to at least give you that, right? Use your request to get them away."

"Thirty minutes? I thought they'd said 'dirty hinges' or something..." she mumbled as she thought out loud. "Well this sucks. Can't we just go back in time to when they arrived and stop them then? Before they notice anything? Or do you think they've secured the area so we
can't?"

"Which I guess would
sort of make sense, given the leverage they have."
