BUT DON'T TELL ANYBODY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I walked up to it, and looked down at the rectangular object, now covered by my shadow. It was a book. A small, hardcover, brown, shabby book. I couldn't see what was glinting until I picked it up and fingered the spine, noticing the gold embossed letters announcing: "ETH TUSDSEI FO DOTD ESTRWA".
I sniffed and turned it over in my hands. The back cover was in no better shape than the front. I opened it, and stared at the yellowing pages. I flipped through the pages, to find that each one was covered in tiny, cramped writing, crawling across the page like a colony of black ants. Only the last few pages had a different handwriting, slightly larger and thinner letters, and the very last ten pages or so in the back of the book were empty.
I flipped back to the middle, and read a few sentences, "...Day 14: Flower in no different form. Beginning to think solution was useless... Day 17: Flower - same... Day 19: Discouraging... Day 20: Flower beginning to liven! Perhaps slight color appearing in leaves. Must make further study...Day 22: Experiment so far success! Few more days and it might be ready to present to board. Just need more evidence of true
p im t N . 2 ..."
I squinted my eyes and reread the last entry of the paragraph. But still, all I could make out was a few letters and the number 2, the rest of the words lost to time. I wrinkled my brow and after a while, I stuffed the book under my arm, and headed back for home.

( XD Sorry, we're just messing with you!
But I don't think I really know you that much, so I can't say...)

BUT, there might be a few factors to think about that will help!
Like, if you want to take that risk of getting negative feedback and such, go for it I suppose - if you are steeled and ready for it if it happens to come your way. Or, if you want to stay within the borders and play it safe, just in case, by all means. But if you do that, you might not feel completely satisfied with the book you've written, or later wish you had tried a little different.
I hope that helped, even if a tinsy bit! :) Hope it works out!

"Hey, maybe she knows where to go!" The human who talked to me, Indigo was her name she said, called excitedly.
In a flash, I bounded through the undergrowth, and was out of sight.
"Hurry, we'll lose her!"
Feet pounded behind me, and I kept running. It smelled so good. So good...
Then, all at once I saw it. In a second it was in my jaws, limp.
I walked back proudly and deposited a dead rabbit at Indigo's feet.
She looked astounded.
"A rabbit?" she whispered. "A rabbit? THAT'S what all that was about?"
"Oi, Indigo!" called out one of the other humans. "Look!"
I glanced up, irritated, and saw what the human was pointing at. A camp with tents, a fire going, and yet another human sitting in front of the fire. Apparently, the humans in my group knew her, and bounded ahead to embrace her, chattering and laughing noisily.
I pulled back my ears and hissed.

After the human spoke with me - words that I could understand - I wasn't so inclined to believe ALL humans were stupid. At least one was nearly decent. She even let me out of the net. She had told me some wild tale of me being a human and named Im or something, I think she might be crazy. but nonetheless, I decided to stay with this odd bunch of humans, and trotted warily a few yards away from the group as we set off. I don't know why I followed them, it was as if I was sort of attached to these humans. I don't know, all I know is that I followed them, and that was all.
