There were three hanging around and heard his cries and ran over shocked. "Whats going on?! Who are you?! Whos she?!"

Her head was filled with nightmares of grinning faces of the vampires and the howls and shrieks when they escaped. She whimpered softly unable to get away from it.

"Thats crazy... why was i raised all this time not knowing this?! Thats freaking aweosme!"

She went to reassure him she was okay but didnt have time to do it before she fell unconscious.

She tried to recall what happened. "He scraped me... with his teeth but didn't bite... i moved in time" she said opening her eyes a bit.

She sighed softly at the effort it took to reply. "They're out of town. Had work" she murmured. Her head was getting fuzzy a little.

"No..no hospital..." she said quietly gripping onto him tightly. She closed her eyes and laid her head against him. "Head down Elm until you get to Cedar. " she mumbled weak and tired.

She nodded again and took a couple steps. Each step sent a shooting pain up her legs. She braced herself against the wall to keep fr falling ober "I don't think i can all the way there" she said hopelessly. "Just go. I can find my own way home. I don't need to stop you too"

She nodded a little and started to stand. It hurt but she held herself against the wall. She wasnt used to being hurt like this or being beat around like he had done. "Its all the way on Elder st... " she said gloomily at the long walk ahead of them.

"Sam" she said quietly not moving from where she was. She brought up her knees to her chest and examined her scrapes amd bruises with a small frown.

This was all too much to handle. She just was trying to get home and now she's hiding from supposed vamoires with a complete stranger. She slumped against Axel her body unable to take all the anxiety and stress all at once.

She opened her mouth to say something but didn't know how to respong. "So there is like a different like.. dimension.. in our world full of vampires?!"

Her head was spinning to much to handle all this. She closed her eyes and just tried to organize her thoughts. "Whats the Clave and i don't believe vampires are real... they can't be. They're characters from stories"

"Maybe you'd forget about me. " he shrugged sitting down and letting the puppy play on him.

She watched him confused. "What are you doing?" She asked in a small shaky voice. The motors were far in the distance now which calmed her a bit. "Who were those people?!"

She sank against the wall breathing hard. She nodded a little too shocked to say something. The motors got closer and zoomed passed without much slowing down. She closed her eyes and rested as much as she could.

She had to admit it wasnt a coincidence."Wow... well i never even knew you existed... Is everything she told me true then?"

She stumbled after him her body aching from the beating she got. She could hear them behind them and was surprised to hear motors started. Like a motorcyle? An a lot of them. She ran faster despite her pain running on adrenaline only.

"What do you mean? She never mentioned you... Are you sure you're talking about the same person?!"

Sam cryed out in pain as she was pulled but followed him. She hesitated but his weight pulled her out the window and she fell screaming. They landed in a pile of garbage and old rugs in the back of the building. You could hisses and cries from the vampires racing after them. It was dark now and they weren't ready to let their food go that easy.
