Nick smirked and served both of them a bowl full. He added chocolate syrup and whipped cream and handed one of the bowls and a spoon to him and sat down again.

Nick rolled his eyes "Never going to happen babe. I'm too crazy about you" he said standing up. "Im going to get some ice cream. Want some?"

He nodded not excited for the cold long lonely nights ahead. Flower wpuld help tremendously so he was very grateful. " Ill write to you so much you'll be sick of me"

Nick leaned his head against his shoulder "I really hope these next couple months fly by." He said sliding his hands into Dustin's lap.

"Damn straight! " he grinned. Thinking of him getting back helped a bit to calm his nerves.

Sam cleaned up best she could and walked out. She headed down the hallway without thinking much and realized she must have gone the wrong way. She stopped and looked around totally lost. She wandered down some more. Gale turned the corner and stopped seeing her "You're looking a little better. And a little lost" he smiled.

She nodded "Food sounds great.. " she smiled before walking into the bathroom and shutting the door. She walked up to the mirror and looked at herself. She was kind of pale and sick looking. She splashed some water on her face and dried it off.

"I cant see? What do you mean?" She asked curiously

She nodded and stood up. She was shaky but could stay up. "Thanks..." She said following him out.

"I wish i could. Once you get back i will so you cant leave again" he smiled catching him looking. "Im glad youll be back for my birthday though! I have an awesome day planned for both of us" he grinned.

She nodded and threw off the covers. She swung her legs over the edge and stretched out "Is there a bathroom?"

Nick nodded a bit glancing at the clock quickly. He couldnt shake the sense of dread that was filling him as the time crept closer. "They cant force you right? If you dont show up because i locked you away they wont get mad im sure"

Almost as if she knew Dustin's gaze was on her she looked up at him and thumped her tail. Nick smiled down at her looking at Dustin "What time should we roll out of here?"

Nick snuggled into his side resting his head against his shoulder. Flower laid down laying her head on Dustin's lap. He didn't know what else to say so he just sat there quietly trying to enjoy it as much as possible.

"That's true.. This world's pretty cool sounding though... Maybe i could bring them here too?! " she asked with a smile. It'd be cooler than her very boring life now

Nick smirked slighrly "Dont worry, she'll get all the love while your away" he smiled. The puppy planted herself on Nick's lap and sat there happily thumping her small fluffy tail.

Nick leaned over and gave him a quick kiss "Im not going anywhere " he said. Flower nudged her face between theres wanting attention again. Nick kissed Flowers head too and scratched behind her ears.

Nick smiled a bit "I guess... Sorry for worrying." He said stroking Flowers head softly. He wasnt really worried about him finding another guy he was just saying stuff to reassure himself.

"Have you seen some of those army guys? Buff, handsome, close by..." he shrugged. "Im way over here and their right there"
