"I think someone came looking for her.. but why all of a sudden?! "

Sam shook her head still not believing it. She went into the room and grimaced at the ichor everywhere. She looked around the room for anything. "Theres no blood. Maybe she fo-" she stopped mid sentence and dropped to the ground moving aside some strewn papers. "Those are too big to be hers" she said revealing a shoe print. "Looks like mud" she said examining it.

"Oooh so she's not your girl huh? Sucks shes a mundie. I wouldn't mind seeing her in one the shadowhunter gear" he winked and sat his cup down. He tossed his core away and washed off his hands. "Damn, i make good coffee" 

Sam looked at him horrified "She wouldnt just be eaten Shes like... a martial artist! She could have kicked that things ass! She may have ran. We have to look for some clues or something..." she said. She couldn't and wouldn't believe it.

Sam was retching in the bathroom from the scene. She wiped off her m outh and flushed the toilet. "Did that thing eat her?!"

Sam followed him quickly and her eyes widened. The place was destroyed and everything was scattered about. "Gram?" She called worriedly. She ran towards the stairs and went up them. She searched each room but there was one that was closed. She turned the knob slowly and opened it. Pitch black. She flipped the flip and screamed seeing a long black scale filled animal.

"That sounds so much better then this place. I've had enough comcrete for my lifetime. I need some nature in my life" he chuckled handing Axel the steaming cup after adding the extras. He sipped at his and sighed softly "I'm glad you two showed up. I'm the only young guy here at the moment and i missed male company. The girls are fun and all but damn they talk about stuff i dont care about 90% of the time. " he smiled taking another sip. 

"Oh! Right! Follow me" She smiled and lead the way. They walked for about ten more minutes before turning on another street. She headed up a small stone path surrounded by flowers and stopped. The door washanging open.

She shuddered at the thought of one and almost ran into him when he stopped. "Sorry" she apologized.

"Really?! Thats awesome! I've never had the chance to go. Is it as amazing as people make it out to be?" He asked after swallowing. The coffee pot beeped and he pulled out the now full pot. He got out three mugs and filled them all up. "Sugar and cream?" 

"Can they take the forms of humans? My grandma had a story of a demom who looked like a young boy so he could attract his prey or something of that nature"

"Well, now you know. Where you from? I havent seen you around." He said picking up an apple from the basket on the counter and took a bite before grabbing another and offering it to him. "Hungry?"

He started the coffee pot and leaned against the counter. "You're no very talkative huh? But i gotta ask, what on God's green earth were you doing by yourself in the middle of a coven of vampires? Loke, were you looking for a death wish my friend?"

"Ohh.. They don't stay in hell or wherever they're from? What do they look like?"

"Is it that dangerous?" She asked curiously. It didn't seem like that big of a deal. "You just protect mundanes?"

She was kind of bummed at her mundaneness. Her plainnness. "Oh.. i guess that's good.."

"My grandmother got her from her druggie friend when she was arrested. So technically yes... why?"

"She just thought they were stories too. I always loved action tales like that. Mythology as well."

"She's my mother's mom" she explained as they walked.

Gale lead him out shutting the door behind them. "Im Gale by the way. I wouldn't worry about your girlfriend though, Ken is the best there is at the medical juju stuff. I'm sure she'll be fine. " he said going down a small flight of orante stairs and through double doors leading into another wing. He took a left turn into the hallway and through another set of doors and into the kitchen.
