At least we still have a couple days. I need to read; I made my cardinal error of planning my next few books because the end of the month is upon us, and I lost motivation. 🤔 So I'm gonna try to get back to reading randomly starting Monday (or Tuesday, since Monday should be busy...).
Thanks Julia!! I always miss that announcement. Although I am so confused as to how anything fits these prompts because I rarely read cli-fi. I know there are examples, but I don't get it. The only example book I've read is Station Eleven, but it's still less natural world and more surviving the remaining desperate humans. 🤔 I guess maybe Dungeon Crawler Carl would work then because he's adapting to his new environment, even though it's not natural? Idk, I feel like I stretch a lot of prompts, and I feel like I have no idea how to make anything work...

If you get through Two Towers, maybe... Not promising anything since goodness knows it's still on my list after a year. When I read these the first time, I couldn't put them down (once I got past Tom Bombadil and the Hobbits got to Bree). This time I have been very distracted (obviously), but I wouldn't mind some motivation to finish off the series. If not this challenge, I'm sure there will be other team challenges.
And another D book, still repping indie, because I do love me a light romantasy retelling: The Dark King and the Eternal Dance
Ooh, which book are you on, Char? I'm only a year behind on my buddy read for Return of the King... 😭😱Throwing it way back to a cute old kids chapter book I found in a used bookstore:
