AH! This is definitely on my TBR!"

I attempted to read this in January. I was not successful. It was written well, but I just thought it was weird and couldn't connect to the characters. I was doing a BR with some friends and they both liked it.

139735 I could maybe try that. What stops me is the Horror Tag....

139735 I was starting to plan some books and wanted 4 during the theme week. I only had 3, so I changed out Dr No for A Time to Rise by Tal Bauer.

I'll still do the BR for Dr No since I think it looks good, but my official book will be A Time to Rise.

Amanda...Buddy Read that one (since I saw it on your list)

139735 Thanks. Now I don't have to worry about trying to read during that week. :)

139735 For those that have read The Magpie Lord, is there any significant time while he is in China? If so, it might qualify for the theme week.

I'm not going to put a number on the amount of time spent in a country. I would ask that you use your judgment. Obviously, the characters "flying over" or "passing through" a country, isn't really enough, but if they spend any amount of plot time there, you can use it.

139735 I'm so proud. By the end of March I will be more than 50% done with my goal to read at least 12 non MM books this year. 5 books in March are not MM Romance.

139735 Welcome!

My mom has First Lie Wins on her TBR. I invited her to do the BR with us.

139735 The Lion Women is all behind Spoiler Tags, but the Lost Story is a bit of both. I just did a quick look at Lost Story since I'm in that one and don't want to see what others wrote. Link is to Ashley's post adding us to the BR.

Updated Spreadsheet.
