Whew! My book finally came in a few hours ago. I'll start tonight!

STILL waiting on the book!

I don't have the book yet, still waiting on the library. Start without me, though and I will chime in later.

I have a request in, from the library. NOt sure when it will come, but start without me and I will catch up.

I finished a day ago and was surprised at the ending. Though I don't know how we could have figured that out! And it seems Eloise now has help with the column!

I think the Leonard and Henry dynamic has something to do with the murder, but more for the personality of Henry than his guilt. On the other hand, I know so little at this point, I wouldn't hazard a guess on the culprit.
On the other hand, is anyone else disconcerted that the murder hunt attendees are looking to solve the crime themselves? It seems bad enough when our intrepid heroine or hero does this, but what would the police feel about a whole cadre of them?

Well, I'm through this first section. Sounds promising with a nice atmosphere and a few potential victims and culprits, though no body yet. I have no further excuses not to continue more like my old self.

I have started this and it is a quick read, but still very busy to go forward. I'll show up soon!

Tina: I know the issues--both parents had dementia and were in the same home for a while. Best wishes to you!

I've been out of town and not doing much reading or internet. I'm back, though, and ready to start!

I started Christie when I was 13. I am much into Lord Peter as well and enjoy Tey very much. Tried a lot of Marsh but never got too excited about them.

I am also OK with Georgie provided it is available without paying brand new prices.

I think the one we read was Mrs. Jeffries and the Yuletide Weddings. Merry Gentlemen didn't sound familiar to me either. I'd like to try it.

I just got Turkey Basted to Death on my Kindle!

I get nothing at the bookfunnel link.

THere are a few Mrs. Jefferies Christmas books. Tina: Do you remember the one we read, long ago?

The Vermont Inn one sounds fine with me. And short, too!

I did not figure it out in advance. The ending was satisfying in that all the clues were there.

Hi Maya! Thanks for joining us. It is always a treat for the author to stop in.

I just finished. I actually like the deadline--it moves me along and I can start something else then!
I'll leave my thoughts on the end till that discussion starts.
Like a lot of books, things seem to pick up for me towards the end and this book is not different.
