Totally opposite from Cass, LOL, I like the 2nd half better than the first.

Funny though, I remember Eden Winters being a better writer. Maybe she was trying something different with this one. A silliness that comes across as cheesy? idk

OMG! Hoopla does have it. I would have never thought to look. WHY did I think of Audible didn't have the book, them out wasn't published? Learned something new!

...pretty much any narrator is better than Alexa or the Audible AI (except maybe Joel Leslie since the way he talks makes me hear nails on chalkboard)

It sounds fantastic. I have it in my want to read list. But there's no audiobook for it yet. I wish there was some sort of notice when the audio comes out. I drop books in my tbr then forget I'm waiting for the audio and they end up buried in there somewhere.

Yes and no. There is a training academy but it's not the focus point of the story.

It was a relatively expensive audiobook and the narrator isn't great. Fingers crossed for a good story (view spoiler)[ even though it started out with "been there, read that" kind of plot. (hide spoiler)]
