Wow! I can't remember last time I bought a paper book. I took everything I had, even a few of the leather bound to Half Price Books.

I take it back. I guess I've bought a few physical books for my grandson.

Oh no! I've listened for 4 hours and haven't engaged with any character or theme yet. I'm ready to move on unless someone tells me something huge, unexpected and full of action is about to happen.

I'm already in love with the audio since the narrator has an English accent. I thought the change of narrator at the very end of the last book was weird.

I finished yesterday. (view spoiler)[The whole end of the story was WAY too violent. Too much death + a maimed character. I can't stand that. Jill you really think that monster was Odessa's mom at the end? (hide spoiler)] I enjoyed the story. Not entirely unique but not a total redo of other PNR. For myself, I'd rate it a 4.5. Although, I wouldn't want to see this on a screen, I'm interested in book 2.

...and on that topic...was there something wrong with Bri's little boy? He looked 4 - 5 years old yet he was always sleeping or being held in his dad's arms like he was a toddler.
