125752 I got about half the day off. Thank goodness because it has been the longest, most boring of weeks.

I'm headed to the beach in Corpus Christi next week with my daughter and her family for a much needed change of scenery.

The weekend will be for cleaning and packing and getting ready to hit the road.

I think reading book 2 right after book 1 is going to make a big difference. It took me a hot minute to remember the basic plot from book 1.
