125752 Well, if it's A1, then I want the name of the steakhouse they're going to.

I recently complained to Audible about the ton of books they have in their Plus Catalog, ALL narrated by AI. I hate AI narration and as of right now, there is no way to exclude those books from a search.

Ha! I feel like that occasionally. It's when I think it may be time to think about retirement. It's a brief thought since I quickly conclude working is better than sitting at home. Unless I had tons of money and someone to have fun with...then, maybe. LOL

I watched episode 2 last night. It's ever better than #1. The look of the actors takes a little getting used to, but really, they are doing a great job with the story line.

OMG I've only seen the first episode. How many are there?
125752 lol I stopped right before your spoiler. Another reason I'm glad I gave up. It was making me, not depressed, maybe despondent is a better word.

125752 Happy Friday. Don't stress Amy, it always comes together, one way or another.

I was intrigued too, but I petered out at 60-70%. Exactly like you said, somber/sad/depressing and even darkish.

LOL!
125752 I finished this one. It was ok. Too much of some things and not enough of others. I recognized some of the characters but they weren't on page much. (view spoiler)

We're in the same boat with KU. I doubt any library carries these. Maybe Google books has better pricing? I always check pricing through a Google shopping search.
125752 I'm on Chap 17, 3.5 hours in. Still not liking it a lot. I don't care for time jumps much and this plot is built on them.

Texas girls, I hope you are all ok. I saw there were some nasty storms rolling through last night."

It looked ominous on our way to the fireworks show but cleared up to let us see lovely fireworks. It was Cameron's first time seeing them.
125752 I started this one yesterday. It's just kind of sad and gruesome so far.

You rated it same as me. I didn't have ALL the details figured out before the end.
