I finished. It got better for me. I liked all the characters. Especially the kids. But I usually do like the kids. A bit predictable but definitely not bad. 3.5 stars. I did love the nickname (view spoiler)[Fancy Face. That was suoer cute to me. (hide spoiler)]

I'm on ch 25. The kiddoa are definitely the ones holding my attention with this one. They are adorable. I am a little more into Skylar and West as a couple. And veatwd in Skylar bwing happy. But I could easily walk away from this book without thinking about it again. I will finish it though. There's nothing really bad about it.

I think ine if Devney Perry's books waa similar. An animal encounter of sorts, then she ended up in his home town. I can't remember which one it was. Maybe that's what you were thinking of.

Y'all, I slept for almost 12 hours last night! I woke up at 10 thus morning. Jerrick turned off my alarm and call my mom for me. I call her when she needs to take her meds... Then, I fell asleep again around 12 and slept for another hour. I was exhausted! I think I finally feel awake. I really think I hadn't fully recovered from Covid before life started lifing at warp speed and now everything caught up with me.

Thank you, Judy. She is feeling better, but still not back to normal. We still don't know what the biopsy said. So we're still waiting on the pathology report. 😟 But all her vitals are good and bloodwork is trending back to normal levels. BP is still elevated, but not super high loke it was... I think she's having too much company... She was really chatty when I was there yesterday. That's good because she is a talker. But again, lots of company may be why her bp is up. Any ramble...

I have this on my calendar for around the 10th. But I'll see how it goes. I'm flexible and moody. Lol
