Thanks, Renee! :D

Not bad!

Hopefully I'll get back into reading this month."

It's amazing how quickly it happens, isn't it? Mine is still stuck at 2 books behind.

Yeah, that's the problem with the humour genre - everybody's sense of humour is different!

LOL I'm the same! I try to cram so many in that I get sick of reading for a while. I'm trying to strike a better balance, but now it just feels like I'm not reading enough!

118012 LOL I haven't given my own number yet...

I read 5 books in March.

118012 After weeding out the multiple-posters and deleted users, the official count for February is in - 1103 books! Great job, everybody! That makes 1981 books for the year so far! :D

For the record, I've made a judgment call about latecomers to the party - if you're an active member of the group (meaning that you take part in discussions on the group's discussion board) but you joined later in the year, I'll consider counting your year-to-date number of books if you offer it the first time you participate in this challenge. Again, I stress that only active members will be excepted from this rule. The idea of this challenge is to see how many books we can read as a group, so if someone joins the group in December and wants to count every book they've read throughout the year, it's going to become a little bit crazy! But for now at least, I'll allow this one exception.

When William Came is still pretty funny, actually. It's one of my favourites!

YAY FOR NEW SAKI FANS!!! :D

The Girl in Blue sounds good."

Yes, poor man, he wrote quite a lot of books that weren't Sherlock Holmes and are now pretty much forgotten. I found one at our used book store and thought I'd give it a try.

Everything by P.G. Wodehouse sounds (and is) good! :)

118012 I don't think I would have enjoyed his work as a teenager either. Honestly, I think high school literature courses have a lot to answer for - they throw all the wrong books at kids and put many of them off reading certain authors for life!

118012 Interesting! I hadn't even heard of half of these, but now I'm intrigued!

118012 I haven't had much time to read so far this month, but I plan to change that, so... here's what I hope to read in the back half of April.

The Alienist, which I'm partway through and really enjoying
Dave Barry Talks Back, for genre of the month
The Girl in Blue, for genre of the month
The Jungle Book, because I never got around to it last month
and Micah Clarke, because it's been on my shelf forever.

I do sell a few things on Etsy - not much, because my turnover rate is higher at craft sales. I can PM you the link if you want?
