That last sentence? I suddenly have an intense craving to have that on a t-shirt. Or a Do-Not-Disturb sign. Or both.

They're always a last resort for me, because sometimes they can take weeks to arrive, and once they do arrive they can't be renewed. Too much pressure! :P

But now that we've been talking about it, I just went and ordered it, so we'll see what happens! :)

I don't have a Kindle. I'll just order it through inter-library loan, unless I can find it at a used bookstore.

Exactly! I feel like I need to read all the books I already own before I can justify buying more, but dangit, I want more NOW. :P

I will definitely start with The Warden. I got Barchester Towers from my library a while back, but it kept referring to events from the previous book, so I quit reading it. Sadly, my library doesn't have The Warden! Imagine not having the first book of a series? Oy...

Ohhh, Heart of Darkness! I love that one. :D

Will you be joining our buddy read for American Gods, Noam? I plan on starting it today.

118012 What books do I want to read this summer? Only ALL OF THEM. *sigh*

I need to fill in some major gaps in my literary education this summer. James Joyce, Marcel Proust, Franz Kafka, Thomas Mann, Anthony Trollope, some of the old Greek playwrights, more of the Russians... gah! Not to mention all the books that I own and haven't read yet, and more at the library that will undoubtedly be calling my name, and who knows what else I'll find along the way!

Can I just have a meltdown now and get it over with?

118012 Awesome, Holly!

My widget refuses to understand that being halfway through two books means that I am NOT one book behind. Humph.

That... sounds strangely awesome.

I'll see if I can manage to take a picture of them all. :)
