That last sentence? I suddenly have an intense craving to have that on a t-shirt. Or a Do-Not-Disturb sign. Or both.

They're always a last resort for me, because sometimes they can take weeks to arrive, and once they do arrive they can't be renewed. Too much pressure! :P
But now that we've been talking about it, I just went and ordered it, so we'll see what happens! :)

I don't have a Kindle. I'll just order it through inter-library loan, unless I can find it at a used bookstore.

I read the Chronicles of Bar..."
Exactly! I feel like I need to read all the books I already own before I can justify buying more, but dangit, I want more NOW. :P
I will definitely start with The Warden. I got Barchester Towers from my library a while back, but it kept referring to events from the previous book, so I quit reading it. Sadly, my library doesn't have The Warden! Imagine not having the first book of a series? Oy...

The Diamond Age by Neal Stephenson
The Heart of Darkness and the Congo Diary by Joseph Conrad
One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest by Ken Kesey

Ohhh, Heart of Darkness! I love that one. :D
Will you be joining our buddy read for American Gods, Noam? I plan on starting it today.

Can I just have a meltdown now and get it over with?

My widget refuses to understand that being halfway through two books means that I am NOT one book behind. Humph.

I am reading "Arc Light" by Erik Harry and "The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy" and "Seal Team Six:OutCasts".. they should free up my brain so I c..."
Hitchhiker's totally counts as a classic.

Okay, that... sounds kind of awful. :P

That... sounds strangely awesome.

Absolutely! No invitations needed around here, just jump right in. :)

Ohhh, you want to make it a career? That's awesome, Holly! You'd be great at that. :D

1. If I am reading in public, do not ask if it is a good book. Instead. Send your query by fax and allow 4-6 weeks for my response.
2. Book versions are always better than m..."
LOL!

I'll see if I can manage to take a picture of them all. :)
