118012 Happy, that's very adventurous of you! ;)

Personally, I'm crossing over absolutely everything i can in 2015, want to complete as many challenges as possible!

I think it's a matter of personal preference, if you want to link everything and crossover, that's up to you :) as has been said many times before, we're rather laid back here ;)

118012 I used Goodreads's 'best of decade' pages and they're really good.

Would definitely recommend them!

All I want to do is sit and slob and read. But oh no :P

118012 I got a lot of awesome stuff too, Faye!

Really starting to worry I might not get my challenge completed. I need to read 3 books over today and tomorrow and I'm also starting to panic over the multitude of essays I need
to write. So panic is generally setting in...

118012 Amazing list, Renee!

118012 The 1001 books list has always fascinated me.

If you want, set up a thread about it, or you could even try and convert it into a mini challenge! :)

118012 University is like the boiling pot of illness, so I felt like I was ill for the whole 11 weeks I was there last semester. Hopefully the same won't happen again.

My mum got me some Zinc tablets for Christmas. It was such an exciting present to open! Apparently they help support the immune system....

118012 I hope everyone feels better soon! There has definitely been a lot of illness going round recently! (Both my Mum and my cat are I'll...)

I expect I'll get something soon. And doesn't people always say you should 'feed a cold'? But as Renee said, both of you keep wrapped up inside (there's snow here), and keep eating and drinking!

118012 I'd recommend finding a simple character list online, I do so for many long novels (The Iliad being the most recent). I expect they'll include the various names as well so it might make things a bit easier. :)

118012 I'm definitely going to attempt this! What a wonderful idea.

Here's to finding that link...

118012 That's an amazing number, Salma! You're doing amazingly well!

Glad you're enjoying it :)

118012 Completed So Far

The Iliad by Homer: 311 pages (needed to finish)
The Chimes by Charles Dickens: 100 pages

Total: 411 pages
To completing my challenge: 5 books to go
118012 I'm planning on reading this as one of my books for the Readathon! Will probably start tomorrow or the day after :)
118012 Ah, I've just made the link! Is this the same 'Unbroken' as the film coming out/already out? (I'm not sure when it's release date is)

118012 Hi Liz, we can set up a thread if you like, we did something similar to this years Genre Challenge.

I'll find some links to popular lists etc.
118012 Okay, looking at my challenge, I need to read 7 books during the readathon to complete it. So my Iist is:

The Iliad, by Homer (just over half way through, need to finish)
The Chimes, by Charles Dickens READ 26/12
Heat Rises, by Richard Castle
Coriolanus, by William Shakespeare
The Taming of the Shrew, by William Shakespeare
To The Lighthouse, by Virginia Woolf
The Trial, by Kafka

Hopefully I can do this!

118012 Ed, I attempted that this year but failed miserably! They're so tempting, but also so big, and once I got horrendously behind on my reading challenge, I realized I could afford to spend time on such long books!

118012 It's a wonderful tshirt! My mum said to me age ago that 'she got me a tshirt so like me it was unreal', and now I understand what she meant!

Getting into the readathon now! One reason I love Boxing Day is because it's an opportunity to just sit in one spot all day and read, not moving at all other than for food and coffee, with no expectation on you to do anything else. The ultimate slobby day!

I'll count up my pages in a bit, have to work out where I started in The Iliad!
