I was first drawn to it by the wonderful book covers. And the inside didn't disappoint at all.

Daily life impacts so many things.

Back in the day when I read The Exorcist I could not read it downstairs by myself at night.. .LOL If everyone went to bed so did I and I read it there. Not that the devil couldn't find me there, it was just that I could hide under the covers.. Enjoy.. 😈😈

This is the way I'd look at it.. If the synopsis of an audiobook in Goodreads says 500+ pages, then it qualifies as a tome.

There was one TV movie based on the book and it was quite enjoyable even if a British actor played Gamache. I think there was another series later on.. haven't seen that. I do need to get back to the books.
