It was more friendship than straight out romance but I think it would fit and it was excellent

My next book is also very short, the 2nd book in the Hainish Cycle, Planet of Exile. After that I think I'll try something more challenging.

I found it quite fascinating. Lots packed into such a short book.

197. The Field Guide

OK, I broke my first promise of 2024, that being not to read more than 5 books at a time.. But it's such a short book and I want to see if I should get the rest of the series; The Field Guide by Tony DiTerlizzi, The Spiderwick Chronicles #1.

Welcome to Ker and Cecillia. I also have more books to read than years left to live I think.. But having them to choose from is the fun part. 😎

So I didn't finish the 1st book in my Non-Series challenge, The Fall Of The Sparrow by Nigel Balchin although I did read about half, 160 pages. It's unfortunate but for me it was just one of those books it was so easy to put down. No Rating

Since I started reading Christie again a few years back, I've really enjoyed getting into them again. You should give one of them a shot and see what you think. Lore Olympus has been a really nice surprise. I hope you read Volume 4. I look forward to seeing what you read in February.
