Nice mix of books. I've enjoyed The Green Mile, Desperation, Rebecca, A Town Like Alice, Slaughterhouse - Five. All quite different. Oh and Lovecraft is very strange... Enjoy all of your selections.
The Dead Zone was one movie that was as good as the book. Great story. I've read one book by Jonathan Carroll, The Panic Hand, a collection of short stories. I recall it being quite unique. Enjoy all of your selections. You've got lots of variety, it seems.
The Green Mile was excellent. I hope you enjoy Leviathan as well. I keep meaning to try Dennis Lehane but keep checking out other books instead. I may have to bite the bullet. I've enjoyed every Dickens book I've tried. Bleak House is on my list. Enjoy all of your selections.

I've wanted to try Thyme of Death. I had it on my book shelf but may have decided not to. I'll have to check it out again. Interesting to see another series by Butcher. Maybe when I finish Dresden I'll check it out.

Such an excellent challenging list. I want t o read more Octavia Butler and also to read Malice. I've had for awhile now.
Some great series there but now I have to order The Calculating Stars to try that series... That's two now from you!

I'm way behind on his work.
Madeline wrote: "I don’t think I have read any of her books! She must be good….😊"The first book I ever read was The Left Hand of Darkness when I took a Sci Fi novel course at university. It was so unique. I kind of didn't read any more until I moved out here and since then I've tried quite a few of her books. They're not all perfect but all interesting.
