Since I started in 2022, I've visited 40 countries. Only 9 this year... Maybe next year!

I will work on mine later. This list will be easier than the 12+4. I am not sure what to do. I just know I have to add at least 2 series books for at..."I think mine will be as simple. Start a Series, Work on a Series and Non-Series and then just organize by genres or something....

Such an interesting list. I've only read The Paradise (it was excellent. Did you ever see the TV series based on it? It was set in England) and Shogun, loved it to.. Ah Marikasan... Konichiwa (apologize for my awful spelling)
A Boy and his Dog looks interesting. There was a movie back in 1975, starring a very young Don Johnston, but it was based on a book or short story by Harlan Ellison. I've seen Fletcher's book. I'll be interested in your thoughts. Good luck with your challenge.

I finally got through all the 2010s on my TBR, and I'm hoping to make some progress in 2011, but we'll see. I already know I cannot do them all.

Mind you, I am vetting some others and just removing them and putting them in my Little Free Library. There is only so much time for reading, eh? Btw, I think I'll still be reading Christie in another 10 years.. LOL

Yeah, I have a bunch that I haven..."I'll blame that too.. not my book buying practices..😎

Good luck with your challenge!"Thanks, Lindsey. I was kind of forced into it because I fear those books were going to go out on strike if I didn't read them soon

Like you, I've already got so many on the go... but hey, what can you do, eh?

I like your challenges, Alondra. 2 series I'm also enjoying and need to catch up with. I also like how you are designating specific genres for your State challenge. That'll make it interesting. I recall enjoying Ragtime very much. Enjoy your challenge!

I'm sure you'll enjoy, especially because of the setting if anything.
My recollections of Stone Angel are just as you described, a story about a grumpy old woman.. LOL. It didn't resonate with me during my university days. But it did introduce me to more Canadian authors. I took it as part of a Canadian Lit course, as I recall.
Linette wrote: "Congratulations, Bill! You've read some good books this challenge."Thank, Linette. She's such a great writer.

As Alondra says, Clockwork is a very different book and it takes time to get into the flow... But it's still worth reading. Dorian Gray wasn't quite what I expected but still interesting. Enjoy.
