Discuss. Tag spoilers. Like I can be all like 'I'm on chapter 6 and (view spoiler)'. And then everyone knows that if they haven't read up to chapter 6, I'm about to ruin something for them.
Oh, I forgot one! The self-loathing supernatural. You know, they just want to be human woe-is-me. So sick of that character.
Kim & I both hate angel books. Sorry, angel book lovers. I also hate insta-love. I really, really hate insta-love. I can deal with a triangle depending on how it's done.
And world building kills me. I can read an entire series and hate the main character if the world building is done well and the story is intense enough.
Also, sexism disguised as chivalry.
Oh cool! I think you told me you wanted to do that. If I didn't have lessons to plan, I'd totally help.
I looooved Iced so much. I usually read only one book at a time, unless something comes out that I'm dying to get my hands on while I'm reading another book :) Other than that, I have to finish the other one first. And I can never abandon a book. I feel like I'm not giving it a fair shot unless I read every page, even if it is absolutely excruciating.
I know a lot of people complained about ICED I hope she isn't changing her story to appease them because she's a genius and I loved ICED.
I'm DYING for Burned to come out. They keep pushing it back I swear every time I look it's another month later.
Now mayhap you quit givin Terrible the fuckin slurpy-eyes an give Bump the listening, yay? Thinkin you can? Gots some fuckin chattering wants doin, needs you fuckin head on straight up.
Hi, Susan :) We literally JUST made the group. Kim and I have wanted to make one for a while...we both LOVE urban fantasy of all varieties, but it's hard to find a UF book club that doesn't focus on YA. Thus, we decided we need our own. I just posted a new thread for intros and book suggestions. I'd love to hear your feedback :) Thanks for joining!
