We are in trouble when they do. *pushes optimism button to try try try
Or maybe they would be salvation.
Down the gravity wellThe joke was that Ceres didn’t have laws—it had police.
it wouldn’t take much to start dropping rocks down the gravity wells.
The book had this way of making it all feel real. Something about the expressions. Kind of like frak, lol.
I wish I enjoyed it more. Maybe I’ll try again, it’s just that for every excellent casting choice there was an abismal one: Nagata looks NOTHING like she should.

In the Sight of Akresa by Ray Wood DNFSkip. This sounds depressing AF.

Your Orisons May Be Recorded by Laurie Penny ★★★★☆
Part horror, part comedy, this Heaven-Is-A-Call-Center story could have been a five star gem. Next time, add a punchy ending!
The Tallest Doll in New York City by Maria Dahvana Headley ★★★☆☆
A whimsical story of buildings in New York coming life on Valentines Day. It read like an old timey light hearted cartoon.

The Ballad of the Flexible Bullet ★★★½☆
This is the story of a writers descent into madness and how it spread to his editor. It was more fantastical than scary.

Grandma ★★★½☆
When grandma could not have children she went in search of the Necronomicon and had herself a passel. Oh, it’s never named in particular, just “those books,” but I know a chant to the Outer God when I hear it. Wouldn’t be the first time His name was called to aid impregnation. The ending was a question, (view spoiler)["br"]>["br"]>

A Kiss With Teeth by Max Gladstone ★★★★☆Happy reread! Well that was fun. Dracula has been trying to live the suburban life but is feeling the ol’seven year itch. How long can you pretend to be something you’re not?
Survivor Type ★★★★☆ Brutal story of a drug dealing surgeon forced into desperate measures - one body part at a time.
