I was done with the Witcher within the first episodes but the prequel has my interest: https://youtu.be/lbHTz_96Ju0
Funny of the day: When you are too sexy for TickTock but somehow don’t know it: https://youtu.be/BDfDzWScfVc
Looks like someone is doing a new version of Romancing the Stone: https://youtu.be/CChz9LX6wiAWhether it’s successful or not Brad Pitt still looks amazing!
Oh yes. Unfortunately, The Witching Hour did not hold up to reread but I treasure my 90s love of her.
The Birds and the Bees and the Gasoline Trees by John Barnes ★★★½☆ May-December romances, cyborgs, and climate change. I liked the idea of the earth being a part of an endless seeding of the universe.
This month we honor Fiona’s Desire and will be reading Miscreations! What happens when we make monsters? What happens when we make monsters of ourselves? Grotesque beings lurch from our darkest dreams. Vicious beasts stalk our twisted pasts. Lost souls haunt our deepest regrets. They are the blood on our hands. They are the obsessions in our heads. They are the vengeance in our hearts.

I'm a little concerned by how many of them apply to me."
My favorites were Internet Surfer, Stupid Oughta Hurt, Night Owl, Road Rage, and High Number. The kid section was a letdown.
They made many odd choices. Jonny Depp is usually a good choice for anything, he’s right up there with John Lithgow in my book as actors who can be as great and good as they are fiendishly bad. I’m not sure why he was such a bad note besides the fact that I can’t picture him romantic with Jude Law. Now Mads….☺️
The Ki-anna by Gwyneth Jones ★★★½☆ A scattered story of a man on an alien world in search of his sister’s murderer. What begins prosaic and boring has a twisted culty end. If the dark cultural violence had been alluded to beforehand I would have enjoyed it more and rated it higher.
