I’ve been rewatching some Predator movies and found one I missed, 2018’s The Predator. Not sure how I had no idea this existed but it was a gem. The humor was memorable, the buddy warriors were sweet, the action was bloody. The visual effects could have used another couple million but it’s not bad there either. Recommend.

They are remaking Masters of the Universe with a good cast except no one could replace Dolph. I can’t imagine what the plot would look like for today’s audience.

Stop watching the news. The apocalypse is best as a surprise.

I live near a military base. Sounds like peace lillies at the base of a flag would not be unwarranted.

The Dragon’s Cat by Jody Lynn Nye ★★★½☆
A sugary D&D style story I enjoyed reading. The description of the Cat Distribution System was heartwarming.

It was a well reported agony casting Harry the first time around.

While I would put John Lithgow as one of the greatest actors of our time, I think JK’s original rule of an all British cast had merit. This is could be some strange woke dumpster fire.

Even if it’s terrible I will go see it. You know I didn’t get the whole Druish princess jokes until I went to college in upstate NY, lol.
