For the week of Aug 8 - 14.

I used ‘Hot Under His Collar’ by Andie J. Christopher because it’s a romance novel with a priest on the cover and it’s hot pink. Great book though!

‘Stolen Kingdom’ by Jillian Boehme is really pretty!

‘Spoiler Alert’ by Olivia Dade fits this perfectly! It’s a cute romcom that follows a woman who is coming out of her shell and refusing to apologize for being herself. After showing the world who she is, she is shamed for her size, but the actor of the TV show she is cosplaying asks her out on a date. What starts as a way to shut up some online bullies turns into a real romance! But will this work in the real world?

This is my most accomplished week yet! I read (and listened to) 5 books! Also, 4 out of 5 are strict romcoms, so that helped me get out of my reading slump!

1. ‘Not That Kind of Guy’ by Andie J. Christopher, which is book 2 in the Nolans. Super cute, loved it as much as the first.

2. ‘Den of Vipers’ by K. A. Knight, took me about 3 months to finish, it wasn’t horrible but I wouldn’t choose to read it again.

3. ‘While We Were Dating’ by Jasmine Guillory, which is book 6 of The Wedding Date. Again - super cute and I loved the story.

4. ‘Spoiler Alert’ by Olivia Dade. I LOVED THIS BOOK! Had some similar themes to the last book I read, but I loved the body positivity and again super cute.

5. Last but not least ‘Hot Under His Collar’ by Andie J. Christopher which is book 3 of the Nolans. Again loved this book.

For the week of Aug 1 - 7.

I finished a couple more books this week!

I first finished ‘Finale’ by Stephanie Garber, which is the third Caraval book I was rereading with my friend.

I also read ‘Isn’t It Bromantic’ by Lyssa Kay Adams, and I LOVED IT! The Russian’s story was so cute (and so heart wrenching) but I love this series so much.

I finished such a cute romcom this week!

I read ‘Not the Girl You Marry’ by Andie J. Christopher, which follows 2 characters who are using each other to get ahead at work. But they are starting to develop some real feelings for each other. So what will they choose to do?

I’m using ‘Not the Girl You Marry’ by Andie J Christopher, which has both of the main characters trying a fresh new relationship.

Had a bad week - hopefully can read again soon!

Finally finished a book! I finished listening to ‘Ghosts of the Shadow Market’ which is a bunch of novellas from Cassandra Clare (and other authors) from the Shadow hunter realm.

Ugh, halfway point! I’m so behind with both challenges. I have been in a major reading slump, but starting to get back into some books. Rom-coms are what is keeping my attention now!
