1107032 Awesome! Thanks for the info Malak!

Getting stuck? Need another idea or simply want to see if any prompt could be used to get you out of your current mental block?

I've done a small search and found some sites that might help you narrow down some ideas. I'm sure you'll run into the same prompts over and over again while searching through these sites but maybe one of them will open up an idea for your or even offer you something else while perusing their site.

1107032 I just noticed that coursera ends on chapter 20.
I just rough drafted 16 and don't feel as though I am that close to ending it in 4 chapters lol. Guess I'll just submit the work and continue until I feel it has a more appropriate ending.

1107032 Thanks for the feedback Liavali, I'm going to add something in chapter 2 (Arthur) for creating the smoke that Merlin sees in chapter 1 (Merlin)
1107032 You can help with my grammar side. I've been using English my entire life and I'm still horrible at it. LOL.

Ana were here to help. If you ever need a chapter edited, google.docs or word.doc just ask. I'm pretty familiar with the track edits/review pane functions in word. =D

1107032 LOL. I'm hoping it wraps. I want to read her past and hopefully end up with them not inviting her to the party at the end, which is the beginning. Then I can be like, woah.

1107032 Remember, we're all here to help. Post only at your own pace. Some of us are chattier than others however, whenever you feel that your ready to ask for some help/review/editing whatever, we're here.
1107032 Well if you remember, Brad Pitt was always an illusion. A fictional character in his mind.

So Violeta sounds like she is represented in the same manner in this logline. Where Edward Norton was creating the fight club, Elba Norton could be starting fires while subliminally imagining her dragons friend presence with her, who she believes is actually starting the fires.

Anyway, I haven't read it yet, but that's where my mind went.

1107032 So I'm at my desk reading finishing your story and my buddy comes in.
"Whatcha doin?"
"Reviewing a story for a fellow author."
"Oh, what's it about?"
"Fairies."
"I love fairies. Can I read it when your done?"
"Uhm, I'll ask her."
1107032 I don't know why but this logline has me thinking along the lines of fight club.

1107032 Welcome Ana and Malak.

@Malak Yes, each author should have their own thread to keep others on track with their stories.

1107032 For the majority of information that I have researched, the most successful new author releases for trilogys, come when a trilogy is released together rather than 1 book at a time.

Not sure if this helps assist you or not but it might be wise to write all 3 books. Then have 3 covers created so that the art styles are similar and then publish. New authors with new titles are more often then not found to not have finished or continued to complete all 3 books so most readers do not take chances on picking up their single 1of3 books.

1107032 That's exciting. Your writing style is going to change I bet, but for the better. So far this courser hasn't taught me anything however, it has introduced me to a few other inspiring writers/authors and if we make a long term writing team, it will all be worth it.

1107032 Absolutely. I'm going over Livali's 1st act right now. As soon as I'm done I'll go over yours. Possibly Friday or Monday I'll start if that's okay.
