"well, there will be plenty of killing once we find the demon, i fear... until then, we must work together" inglades said as he lowered his sword

((ok, the mexican stand down isn't going to happen...))

((right now tade's character is doing a hold-up thing with the rest of the party))

"inglades, after drawing his sword at the onset of the fight, watched with stunned amazement at the demonstration of anubis's power. as he rose again, inglades said "how can any of us trust you? you just tried to kill us! for the safety of those around me, i must kill you" he spun his sword at his side

inglades heaved a resigned sigh and said "join us if you will, but let us be off. these woods have an evil will about them" with that he took up his horse's reins and walked down the path

"perhaps, but you have yet to earn my trust" inglades said "but you may as well join us..."

inglades followed pine, and when a safe distance from anubis and the strange elf, inglades said "what would you have me do?" inglades demanded "i wish only for justice, pine, and i will do what i must to achieve it. we need their help, pine"

"very well, though i have a feeling that this can only end in ill fortune, but nonetheless, if you will follow me, i will take us to waymeet in three days time if we encounter no trouble"

"normally i would never give this much information to someone i only just met, but we need all the help we can get. i am hunting a daemonlord, an incarnation of evil, that slew my brother knights. i believe it's in a destroyed outpost of my order called waymeet." inglades said with a concerned expression "and my name is inglades not 'sword man'"

"i really must be off... there is evil there that should not be suffered to live"

"i am inglades silversword, knight of the sword. i'm traveling to the southeast for now, and that's all i trust you to know"

"who are you?" inglades demanded, putting a hand on pine's shoulder to keep her from charging

inglades whipped out his sword, spinning it in an arc over his head, and running between this new threat and his more vulnerable companions


(( can we have a less combat heavy game for a while? if we get to waymeet, i have some cool tricks for that scene ;) ))

"there's something behind us" inglades murmured, "but we have no time to investigate. we have to move quickly"
