cin felt a desire for justice and his duty to his padawan vying for dominance in his mind. after a long moment, he turned back to marcie "where should we run? we're on our mode of escape" (i think)

"time for a rematch" cin said quietly, approaching the sith with his saber spinning in a flourish at his side

"i understand" he said grimly "thank you for the trouble you went to to help me" he said as the figure closed the door after him

cin focused his energy in the force, trying to ignite his saber. he waited a moment for the EMP to wear off, and then his green blade hummed to life in front of him, casting an eerie glow on his face, making his eyes glow

(i was thinking inglades would stay here and go a little weird...) "no." he answered finally "if i go, i'll break a deal with this entity, go against my code of honor, and put my friends in more danger then they're already in. i appreciate your effort, but you should go before they find you here. however, if you could rescue my friend scorch from the next cell, i would be grateful"

"perhaps i am, why do you want to know?" he realized how far he had fallen in his training not to boldly proclaim his name

(it's spelled rogue, rouge is red in french)

"these people were evil, inglades, i merely served justice upon them." with that, he walked from the cell

"no, i don't"
"have you heard of the kingdom of Arngrim? how it was obliterated by waymeet for the sole purpose of expanding it's borders?"

"then you have no idea of the atrocities comitted by this city?"

"it is" inglades said hesitantly

(are you guys just watching as cin duels the sith?)

"and what do you mean?" inglades asked.
"that, contrary to what you may have been told,
I am not evil. i tried to bring justice to the lawless city, to punish the guilty for their crimes. is justice not part of your knighthood's code?"

(i thought they were in seperate cells) inglades looked up coldly. "what do you want?" he asked gloomily. "to make an offer to you. to let you see things in a different way, to show you that i am not the being of evil you see me to be."

a few dreary days passed with inglades given only starvation rations, and otherwise ignored. on the fifth day, however, the demon lord entered his cell.

cin charged the sith with his lightsaber, coming in calmly, with measured strikes

cin ignited his saber as he saw the sith, standing between him and the others

they were led into the tower, and inglades was led to a cold, dark cell, but at least he was given medical attention to his wounds

"not now, padawan"

"because doubtless there are jedi among the masters that Luke has trained that will be able to track him in the force, needless to say heal you and give us a new direction for our mission
