Xavier chuckled and let Fiona pull him. Once they reached the cave entrance, he stopped. The path ahead was pitch black. He looked straight at Fiona. "Can I trust you?"

Xavier stood amazed for a second. "Woah." He breathed.

Xavier nodded slightly confused. "Follow me." He said, leading her left along the beach.

Xavier looked at Fiona with a weird look. "Uh... yeah, actually. We are heading over to a sea cave that's only accessible by water. At high tide, the entrance is blocked, but it should be open now." He looked at the ocean and saw it was between high and low tide.


Melody turned to Serenity. "We're heading up another trail into a dense forest and up a small mountain. You up for some climbing?" She asked happily.

"Serenity, you're with me." Melody announced. "That means you guys are a group." She smiled innocently at Fiona and Xavier.

Xavier nodded and looked at Melody. "We have two guesses on where she might be so we'll have to split up to check them both."

Melody shook her head. "Ash won't be in there." She told them. "When she's upset she never stays in her house. She loves the great outdoors and it always makes her feel better." Melody had to shout to be heard over the sound of the crashing waves.

"Just down to the seashore." Xavier told her.


Melody moved in close. She looked anxious and nervous.

Melody hugged her back. Finally, she took a step back. "You ready to see the rest of Seaview?" She asked.

Melody sent her cloud to hover over Fiona's creations. "They are beautiful." She said truthfully.


Xavier nodded at her question. "Yeah, I'm fine." He looked over the cliff. "We should go find Ash. I bet I know where she is."

Melody felt the coldness of the air and created a mini snow cloud to keep Fiona's creations cool. "Those are beautiful." She said softly.


Xavier took a step back. He didn't want to accidentally melt anything or reveal his ability.

Xavier chuckled. "If you think the leapmaster is cruel, you should see the trail down to the shore."


Melody nodded. "This is one of the most beautiful places in the Lost Cities." She said. "Just close your eyes. Hear the sea. Feel the breeze. Smell the ocean. You don't need sight to know its beauty."

Xavier caught Fiona right before she fell off the cliff. "Careful." He warned, making sure she was steady. A strong crosswind was blowing and it made everything dangerous. "Mel, the wind?" He called.


Melody nodded and instantly, the strong wind became a gentle breeze.


"Sorry for the landing." Xavier apologized. "It's a cruel trick of Ash's dad to have the leapmaster so close to the edge. He likes making the nobles uncomfortable."

Melody nodded and grabbed Fiona's hand. "Of course its ok. Just stay with us and you'll be fine." She smiled encouragingly.


Xavier nodded. "Any friend of Ash's is our friend." What he didn't say was, which is practically nobody. He held his pathfinder up to the light and waited for the girls to step through.
