I read A Trace of Poison by Colleen Cambridge. Loved this cozy mystery - not a genre I read often. The premise of Agatha Christie's housekeeper being an amateur sleuth was pulled off exceptionally well - I was skeptical, but well done!

I read this one too in the past - I agree - it was hard getting into it. In the end, I didn't care for it.
