The Arthur C. Clarke Award is given for the best science fiction novel first published in the United Kingdom during the previous year.
The Thriller Awards are recognize the best books in the “thriller” genre.

What did you think Sharon? I read this one too and it annoyed me sometimes, but it cettainly is memorable.
I didn't end up reading The Huntress this month like I originally planned - chose Deathless Divide by Justina Ireland instead. it's Horror > Post-Apocalyptic > Zombies
Simone wrote: "Yaaaaaaaaay, my book did actually win ... Just finished it today - Nothing to See Here"I was psyched to see that it won too Simone. I read it in January - quite interesting.
Cecil wrote: "Okay, FINALLY found one on already my shelves to read for March! Will be reading “Connections in Death”, by J.D.Robb. Which I just discovered is actually Nora Roberts writing under a pseudonym. Nev..."wow - way to put the time to good use!
Simone wrote: "I finished my book for this challenge - sci-fi with subgenre: dystopian. I actually enjoyed this one a lot even though there were no zombies involved.I liked Parable of the Sower too - but didn't Lauren irritate you with how she thought she knew everything? Or was it just me?
If you haven't yet - I recommend you read the 2nd book - it is even better!
Kimberly wrote: "I might pick a new book. I am just not enjoying Ninth House like I thought I would."I started reading this too but maybe I'm not in the mood ... I'm setting it aside for something else.
Cecil wrote: "Okay! Finished a Jack Reacher novel on my way thru that series, waiting for my challenge book to come in from the library. It’s here! On to read “The Huntress”, by Kate Quinn. Historical Mystery fo..."I'm going to read that too this month!

I'm reading The Girl in the Tower by Katherine Arden - it's the 2nd book in the Winternight series. The first was The Bear and the Nightingale (which I read for the January Motif challenge).
I'm choosing from the Audie Awards - either The Strange Case of the Alchemist's Daughter by Theodora Goss - Winner of the 2018 Audie Award for Fantasy ... or The Hike by Drew Magary - Winner of the 2017 Audie Awards for Fantasy.
Simone wrote: "I finished Friday Black for this month's award winner on Feb. 11 - PEN America Literature Award in 2019"What did you think of it? I read that a few months back.
I just got All Systems Red from library hold. It won a 2018 Alex Award - announced Feb. 15, 2018.This book actually works for all 3 challenges! Yay.

Just finished this one last night (Okay, about 1:00 am this morning.) Challenge complete! Now onto my Motif challenge!"
What did you think of it?
Traci wrote: "TI also ended up reading Normal People"Ecellent choice Traci - I saw that it was the 2018 Costa Award Winner for Best Novel - I just finished it too - it came out of library hold too late for January for me ... but it was definitely interesting. I liked it and am still thinking about the characters days after I finished reading it!
