100271 OK I love this shit. Thank you guys! This is now my official favorite thing!

100271 Hey,

So, I've been thinking about you smarty panties for a few weeks.

And so buuuuuttttt........

You know, you all come up with such awesome theories about what's happening with the Drazens, and you're so creative and wonderful. When I'm in the middle of writing something, I don't check what you're saying at all, because I don't want my mind to get all messed up!
There is a whole web of events and they have to meet. It's so ways to screw up.
So here's how this affects Coda.

You know (it's late and this post is already all over the place) I had a list of things I wanted to touch on for Coda. Declan, Brad, Margie....just a ton of shit. And then...well, the whole thing got away from what it was supposed to be. It's supposed to be about two people who want something and are having trouble getting it. So in order to do that, I had to make some decisions....

1) This book is ONLY about Jonathan and Monica. I didn't put a damn clue about anything else in this book.

2) I don't mention Theresa or Antonio once, since that might give away the ending of RULE.

3) Declan is getting his own damn book. Fuck it. I can't say when, but he's too interesting to just drop. But partly, that means in order to not screw up his book, he's never on camera.

4) Jonathan is a badass. Full stop. He just destroys her EVERY TIME.

5) I tried to put stuff in about Jessica but guys.....she's gone and I don't give a shit. Seriously, she's outlived her usefulness to me. Same with Kevin. Neither should let the door hit them in the butt on the way out.

6) I have no idea what to put on the cover LOL.

Release date is March 18th.
Amazon preorder links up around March 12th
BN will not have a preorder

100271 My darlings,

Thank you so much for everything this year. You've kept my spirits up with your reviews and kept my mind churning with your theories. It's been such a great you and having a safe place on Goodreads has made it so much better.

Next year I have a couple of things I know about....

Let's see....

1) The untitled Secret Project. It actually has a title, but I can't say what it is. Why? Because I want to send it out for traditional publishing. If I get an offer I like, then someone else has control over what content I release (a totally foreign concept - let's see how it goes) If I don't get an offer I like---SQUEE! I self pub.
**I have a strategy for when my agent submits it. I MAY need your help I'll let you know!**

2) CODA - Yes! Jonathan and Monica dealing with all the stuff. All. The. Stuff. I'm going to poll you after the holidays on what questions you felt were unanswered, and we'll see what I can get into. Expect a release in mid-late March. It's already up for preorder on iBooks. I'll get BN up there soon, and Amazon won't have a preorder until I have a firm date.

3) Speaking of SOS, I'll be releasing the FULL SERIES in one bundle for a limited time on Apple for 99c in....dunno....late Feb? The first three chapters of Coda will be in there. I'm trying to get new readers in, and if old readers want to get a peek at Coda, it's 99c. Though, if you wait, that's cool as well.
It'll go up on Amazon/BN a week later for 2.99.

4) Antonio will return in RULE some time around say....June?

5) The Erotica Consortium is *possibly* doing another anthology late June. I'll have an unrelated little novella in there called Kinky Bastard.

6) After that, it's a crap shoot. I know you all want to hear from Fiona. There may be something happening with her I can't speak of until...dunno. It's a thing. As soon as I know, you will know.

7) Beg Tease Submit is available on Audio through iBooks, Audible and Amazon. Individual novellas will go up soon!

8) Beg Tease Submit has been translated into Italian!

Thank you for a great year guys. <3

It would be awesome if I knew how that was going to shake out. but I don't.

Remember that first draft of Chap 1 of Spin?
Spin was supposed to be a cheating story and thus....the end of Sing.

But Antonio just took over the page, and no cheating story works if one of the males is too strong. So I had to change it. Now....well I have to figure it out and I kind of have already. :)

I was fascinated by the tunnels under the carriage house. You always provide a good visual description of your scenes. How did that come about?"

You know....I needed tunnels. I researched, found some in LA...but couldn't get in. Then we visited a friend in pendleton Oregon and there were tunnels there that were accessible to the public. So I just copied them.

Kismet!

100271 Short announcement.

I'm removing the "Songs" from the series names.
They're not really relevant and I feel it alienates new customers. It's going to be "The Submission Series" etc etc.

However, between us, we can still say SOP SOC SOS.

100271 @Tony

And crossover bw Carrie and Declan -- still not sure exactly, but yes. ;) Some. How much remains to be seen. Still sorting it out.

If you ever find it interesting to read the Laura Carnegie Mysteries, you'll see it has a different voice. It didn't fit the genre completely, but it was still different because of the story I was telling.

Even between series SOS, SOP, SOC the voice changes a little. That's why I love first person.

I would say, yes. The first hints of sexuality are the most intriguing to him. The dew on the flower, as it were.

I know what the personal journey of the characters is. I know the operatic tone. i know what they sacrifice and how. All the rest is up in the air.

The corruption books are hard to write. They take lots of time and thought.

No clue.
There are many, many interlocking pieces I have to sort out first, and sometimes the only way to do that is to write through it....meaning, release other books.
