“ It is my joy to share with present and future generations these stories so full of humor, warmth, and adventure – and so rich in the rural culture of the early 1900's. ”
[close] I love Goodreads, but at 21 years old I tend to find readers here who are much older than me or who only read YA. This group is for those who are young but read ambitiously—be that reading tomes, non-fiction, books from around the world or something else. We do not limit by age, if you are ambitious and young at heart feel free to join.

[close] Hello! Welcome to my little reading club for young readers!! I have literally every excuse “in the book” as to why I don’t read as much as I should, so I wanted to start this little book club so that not only will we all be reading more, but we get to stay in touch through an awesome, fun and educational outlet along with mom and dad (guardians). Here’s how it works: 1. Each Month new books will be selected to read. 2. Borrow that book from the library, a friend, download it online, or get it from Chapters/Amazon. 3. Read your book and post comments, join book discussions and complete reading challenges. 4. If you don’t want to read a book one month, you don’t have to! 5. All members are free to add books they recommend or ‘want to read’! Please invite your friends and family to the group if you feel they will enjoy it! All they need to do is register and sign in!!! I’m so excited to get started! ~ Lori.
