Quarantine

[close] I need a book club and I don't want to search Goodreads. So I'm starting one. After ten people join, I'll close it up and we can get started. I can't handle 4,067 members and 25 different subgroups. We'll keep it small and easy. My favorite authors: Stephen King Terry Pratchett Neil Gaiman Christopher Moore Jasper Fforde I like horror and dark comedy. But I'll read anything. I write YA para, so I'll read that, too. Excited to meet you.

[close] This book club's purpose is to highlight the importance of reading and literary writing. This highlight gives readers and participants new experiences through the reading of varying stories, biographies, short stories, and other works curated by individuals here in the US and around the world. Through the club, we hope to expose reading to works and authors unknown, build an online community of readers, and to welcome people of all walks of life together in one space in a time of uncertainty.

[close] 2021 needs some books that can keep us going! This will be a super low-key book club. Read books together and discuss, or Chime in and tell us what you've been reading/recommend a book We can discuss here at will, and if people are into it, we can meet by zoom. Who knows? Maybe someday we'll all actually get together and have coffee and/or wine and pretend we all at least "started the book," in person, together.

[close] THE BIGGEST GROUP FOR DYSTOPIAN LITERATURE ON GOODREADS.
