A group of BookTubers who refer to themselves as "The Pride" have created this group to be a SAFE ZONE for all LGBTQIA+ BookTubers and Readers to read books together and be able to feel safe while voicing issues about homophobia, heteronormativity, and misrepresentation. However, more than that, it's a place for queer BookTubers and Readers to be able to read and have fun and let our hair down, knowing that within this group we are not a minority. Notes: We use "LGBTQIA+ and "queer" interchangeably. The "A" in "LGBTQIA+" DOES NOT stand for Ally.
