Movies often don't do well by the book. This one did. It's a beautiful film that I've always loved and now I'm reading the original book. I've read others by Anne Rice and she crafts a great tale. I find the two mediums to go hand in hand. Lestat IS Anne Rice and, is she is a mystery, Lestat will always be a mercurial entity to behold. (less)
Gary thats some deep questions and i would agree with them all i have read all of anne rice's books and they do bring into question, lifes many questions i…morethats some deep questions and i would agree with them all i have read all of anne rice's books and they do bring into question, lifes many questions i think all of the people in her books are asking the same things we are about life (e.g are we alone, is there a higher power, what is life all about) but because they are immortal it they take each question into more depth because they have the time to do that. so by doing that she has brought her people to life in away very few writers did until her and that's what makes her one of the all time greats. Maybe try requesting the audiobook from your library? The audio version of this book is really good and you can listen to it while you do busywork, so it won't put you to sleep.(less)
