This book has put me to sleep every time I pick it up to read... Is it worth it to persevere til the end? I have the second one to read as well but am about to give them away...

Kim M I personally really enjoyed it, but I understand why some people get bored. It's definitely not written like a standard novel. Maybe try requesting the audiobook from your library? The audio version of this book is really good and you can listen to it while you do busywork, so it won't put you to sleep.
