Hey, Valentine's Day snuck up on me! I loved Jackson's, Foster's, Forrest's, and Singh's. I'm not reading anything particularly romantic, so boo me. I know this challenge is only for authors, but I want to try my hand at it:
"The handsome stranger smiled across the hall. Thirty years later his smile still mattered".
I've almost have ignored Valentine's Day, since I had to break off my engagement back in 2003 --he just wasn't my soulmate-- but I still enjoy part of it, because my family's so important to me.
We are reading the Romance of our choice for my book club this month. Was going to read The Beast by JRWard., But I decided to read The Darkest Torment by Gena Showalter instead.
Would it be too crass to recommend my own? Harlequin Heartwarming Cameron's Pride series, if you crave the real West.

Anything by Kristen Ashley is worth reading for Valentine's Day. However, the Fantasyland series actually has a character named "Valentine"... read it. You will thank me later! Fangirl squee!https://www.goodreads.com/series/6939...
Christine wrote: "Why are you posting something here in the romance section if you don't like genre? We who love these stories are reading to escape from the nasty world that always seems to fined us no matter wher..."
There's nothing wrong with the genre, it's just that they are mentioning some innapropriate stuff.
I'm Reading A Song of Ice and Fire (Game of Thrones)... Sometimes there's love... But then it just dies :/
Elyse wrote: "Not big into straight romance novels. I'm reading Throne of Glass!"OMG I LOVE THAT SERIES!!!
I am currently reading Gemini by Penelope Ward. But my alltime favourite romance books are
1. Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen
2. Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austen
3. Stuck-Up Suit by Vi Keeland
Steph wrote: "I'm re-reading Burn for Me by @Ilona_Andrews in anticipation of her/their visit to North Carolina."Great book! I can't wait for the other two books in the series to come out later this year. Given the series' awesome start, it's been hell having to wait so long between books.
Sophie wrote: "I´m actually needing a good romance novel... one that stick to you forever"Did you try any of Anne Stuart's books? They are the kind that stick with you wherever you go.
