Any sign of a Windows Phone App?

I guess you have forgotten the Windows phone members instead, considering you don't mention us at all.
Is anyone else having problems with the new app? In place of a home page I am only getting and Error Getting Updates message followed by "An unexpected error occurred. It may be that the Goodreads servers are over capacity: please try again in a bit. You may also try to sign out and sign back in (or force-close and relaunch the app) to refresh your user session." Tap to reload
I have tried all of those options several times. In fact I am not able to sign out and back in without deleting the app and reloading it - there is no sign out/in option available otherwise!
I used to use the Goodreads app on my iPad a lot. Please is there a way I can have the old one back because it worked.
Used on iPad: Looks nice, haven't seen much difference except the homepage (which now forces me to use the more button to now get the Groups pages).
When trying to view the groups - i am just presented with a loading screen. Hopefully just teething problems, but this day and age, i expect software to be tested before being released.
Much of the UI & UX is still shoddy, guys. Nice step, but not there entirely.

I'm getting this same error. The other screens work, but that home screen with the friends' status updates constantly gets this error.
To sign out, go to "more" in the lower right, then "settings" at the bottom. You'll see where you can sign out then.
ETA: After typing this, the home page started to work for me.
What about a Windows Phone App!! Really need it!!

Now this is injustice. Dear GR people, please release atleast a beta Windows phone app before updating it on any other platform. Are the Windows phone users totally insignificant among your regular users ? I highly doubt that.

Glad to hear you're working on the Android app update as well! The current edition has a lot of issues. The new lay-out looks great.
Is it only for certain iOS's? I haven't received an update message on my iPod
It is very different but I like it so far...

Hmmm. Doesn't even launch correctly. Not exactly the "beautifully redesigned" app the Goodreads team is touting.
Really ready for an update of the android app! Great for the basics, but is really lacking past that. I would guess it is 3-4 'updates" behind the iOS app!

Any chance an entire site redesign is in the works? While I do use my iPhone to keep track of my reading when I'm not at home, I prefer to browse on my laptop. This site needs some modernization.

Looks a bit better, unfortunately it errors out getting updates so it's no better than the previous release. I will stick with the web browser.

"Hey there - are you still having trouble getting the updates to load on the home page? To sign out, first tap the More button on the bottom right-hand side of the screen, then tap Settings when the gray menu appears. You should see the Sign Out option there. Let me know if signing in and out doesn't help.

I'll definitely let our development team know about this. Have you tried signing in and out to see if that makes any difference?

Hey Richard - you should be able to view all of your groups there. Are you still having trouble with the page? Have you tried reloading it (that is, simply going to the gray menu and tapping "Groups" again)?

Unfortunately, this isn't included in the current app. Great to know that you'd like to see this, though!

Yes. The other screens seem fine.
I have an "Error Getting Updates" message when I try to go to Home. I've deleted and redownloaded it. I'm using the IOS version for my iPhone 5. What's the deal?
