I will definitely let them know about the general update option!
Just to clarify, you should still be able to get that box off of your updates feed right now. Just very carefully tap the "X", and it should disappear.
The Goodreads feature on the paperwhite is less than useless. Frankly, it's an embarassment. Fix that, 'k?
I'm not happy with the update for the iPhone App. I used to be able to turn my phone to landscape view in order to see pictures but now the view does not rotate with my phone. I know the app will never offer all the features of the site on the web, but it was nice to be able to use the rotate option.
Feedback & Suggestions:- Have the notification/messages/requests bar appear on the main page.
- I personally would prefer the old main page returned (with updated visuals).
- Let users customise what icons appear on the bottom menu bar (I don't ever use scan and would much prefer groups to appear there)
- The search page seems a little redundant when you already have a search field on the top of the home screen.
Is anyone else getting updates for people not listed as their friends? Somehow, my account got linked to someone else's friend list, as far as I can tell. I'm waiting to hear back about this from Goodreads after I notified them. At first, I had the error/overcapacity message like some others have complained about, and then it resolved, but I'm receiving updates for a set of people who aren't my friends even though everything else is correct such as my friend list and my profile. Plus, I miss having the message and notification icons on my home page. I want the old version back.
meh. sorry, but there is more than ios users. the android app looks and feels like it's never been updated in ages. and in fact it hasn't.
This does look great, but Android users are very jealous ;) I read online that the update will happen, but there's no date?http://simplenewz.com/2014-09-18/Main...
please please please go back to last version, do not like drop down menu, home page w icons much better
update the app on ipad, the currently reading folder does not show up under the My Books. Deleted app and reinstalled it and did not fix the problem. Also, when moving a book to a shelf, the menu only shows a few you have to go the other to view them. don't like the home page either. easier navigation on the previous version. Also, think they should allow for subfolders. For Example: Currently Ready, (subfolder name) where you can have categories of different type of books like Action, Romance, etc. should have that as well under Read and To Read. Also a suggestion, when view an author, on ipad or iphone, the book list for the author should show if you read it or not like the computer version.
Hi! I am STILL having issue with the "error getting updates" for awhile now. I have force closed, signed in and out and deleted and redownloaded the app multiple times. Still getting the same error message. What gives?!
Do you have any plans for expanded Listopia (liked lists, search by tag) or also having access to seeing series when view books as well?
How come there is no more "currently reading" folder? Inconvenient :( Now I only can see the books I am currently reading at the top of the screen...
I have an older iphone, 4s, and all of a sudden, started Friday, my screen isn't large enough to scroll down to the sign out button. I can push my screen down but if I hold my screen while pushing "sign out" it still won't work. Any ideas?

How long has the Choice Awards 2014 link been on this screen? The Settings link is below that and I'm wondering if the Choice Awards link has recently been added pushing Settings too far down. Guess for now I'll have to delete it from the phone.
This is rather funny, as I received an email from you recommending your mobile apps for iOS and Android. Plot twist: I'm a Windows Phone user, and still no sign of WP app.

It'd be great if you could let IT know that having the general update option is missed as well!
