Where to start? Should I read Crazy Rich Asians first, since it's still AAPI month?

The film compensates for the lack of literary heft because the actors add a realistic albeit exaggerated twist to their characters.
But perhaps you will like it more than I did...
I am excited for Lost Art Dreaming, alas it’s a novella.
