Thanks so much 🙏

Milly Johnson often has older leading ladies.
There's a couple of listopia lists you could check out.

enemies to lovers: carry on (lgbt+ ya fantasy romance)
slow burn: heartstopper (lgbt+ ya romance)
both are so cute! i do think carry on has like one sex scene, not sure though, but nothing wildly explicit.

I bet you will. I would say that romance is not my main genre but I surely enjoy a good romance!

A Double Dose of Love by Kathleen Fuller
The Night Country by Melissa Albert
The Kissing Tree by Karen Whitmeyer
Coulda Been a Cowboy by Brenda Novak

Hi! We ran post earlier this month on 66 highly anticipated 2021 books by Black authors, including lots of romance. You can find it here: https://www.goodreads.com/blog/show/2008
Happy reading!

Mariana Zapata usually keeps it pretty age appropriate except for the very end where there's like one saucy scene (this goes for like 75% of her books) (From Lukov With Love is my fav of hers). Kate Stewart also has pretty PG-16 books I think. Obviously there are always going to be some spicy scenes but I think she also only has like 1 or 2 in her books (my fav is The Guy on the Right) so def not bad compared to others.

Take a look at Karina Halle's The Artists Trilogy.

*edit: found them!

Bias by Lucy Gold.
This is going to be your favorite romance read of the year. We need more diverse romances like these! (And okay, I may like it a lot because it's Korean too. ;)

The perfect romance to me would be a sweet, historical, mystery adventure, like Madeleine Brent.

A great queer romance for young adult/teenagers is Heartstopper by Alice Oseman. It's a graphic novel series. You can either buy the book (or borrow from library) or the entire comic is available online for FREE on her website.

The Hating Game
The Wall of Winnipeg
The Happy Ever After Playlist
If you love those too, what else do you recommend I read? THANKS!

Regretting You
