Isabella De Oliveira Campos I like romance, but only mixed with science fiction. My favorite example of this crossover genre is Catherine Asaro's Primary Inversion: an impossible romance between two heirs of enemy interplanetary empires. Romeo and Juliet with cybernetics, if I could say. Also loved the sequel, The Radiant Seas, that continues that romance.

The book series that these two novels belong to, the Saga of the Skolian Empire, has many love stories in a science fiction background. The Quantum Rose, a Nebula Award-winning novel in this series, is another good example of a science fiction romance story. It's probably out of print but thankfully the author is currently rewriting the book for an e-book release. I can't wait to read it, I'll read anything written by Asaro in the Saga of the Skolian Empire.

Try these:
Pushing the Limits - Katie McGarry
Slammed - Colleen Hoover
Nowhere but Here - Katie McGarry
Fake it 'til you Break It - Meagan Brandy
The distance Between Us - Kasie West
If I'm Being Honest - Emily Wibberly
The Summer Series - Jenny Han
My Life Next Door - Huntley Fitzpatrick

I think these are all YA, off the top of my head. I'd say all of Katie Mcgarry's and Kasie West's books are YA as well, so if that's what you're looking for, try those.

- Andrew I’m not really into romance as a very romantic, unrealistic kind of concept, and more drawn to the science of it, specially. And Alain de Botton had made great effort breaking down the taboos of kind of childhish toxic kind of romanticism, into a very practical and very realistic approach towards the good and the bad and the challenges of bonding a bond with others. I totally recommend his his book The Course Of Love. Colin Wilson too, one of the Existential philosophers, whose unlike most philosophers, had really great love story and successful marriage, and we wrote lots of books about the consept, including True Love Stories. Finally, Erich Fromm had also written a book named The Art of Loving that I’m quite excited to read it.

Would definitely recommend: Code of Silence - Shantel Tessier
Cruel Intentions - Siobhan Davis

Bound by Honour - Cora Reilley, I've not yet read this one, but it's meant to be super good
