In the Woods was good. So far of the 3 Tana French books that I've read that one's got to be the best.

The Cuckoo's Calling was a change for me from most mystery thrillers. Pretty good character development throughout the book.

Thank you for the list, will surely look them up
I started reading Sad Cypress yesterday without knowing of Goodreads mystery & thriller week. What a great coincidence! I am utterly enjoying it and I can't stop reading it. I frankly recommend it to everyone!
ohhhh so many great new recommendations - keep them coming!A couple of my favourite thrillers from the past year were:
In The Clearing
The Lost Man
I Let You Go
Everyone seems to be talking about Tana French at the moment so that's next on my list!
I read "I'm thinking of ending things" a couple of days ago. It was, different from what I was expecting.Thrillers are my favorite genre. I can't get enough! I'm not sure which one will be my next. I'm torn between The family upstairs or The Whisper Man.
What do you guys think?

I didn't like The Family Upstairs as much as i liked The Whisper Man. My vote definitely goes to the latter :D
I'm in the middle of The Dry The Dry]. A very small town setting with decades old secrets, this one is very well written.
I’ll be continuing with The Longmire Mystery series. Can’t believe no on mention this series in any of the above categories!
Mystery and Sci Fi. A neat combination.Try:
Inherit the Stars (Giants, #1) (James P. Hogan) or Century Rain (Alastair Reynolds)
Both are gripping reads.
Thriller I am currently reading is XO by Jeffery Deaver. Next on my thriller reading list is Bone Collector by Jeffery Daver. I would like to read whole Lincoln Rhyme Series.
I just started reading Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier. The next one is still up in the air, but I enjoy looking at everyone's suggestions.
Anyone looking for a lighthearted mystery series should check these out:Game Night Fight
Slice of Life
Avoid My Sister the Serial Killer, terribl book. Could have been very good but was really disappointing and annoying.

Definitely The Whisper Man! What did you think of "I'm thinking of ending things"?

Rivers of London series the best of them all.

The way she let the sister get away with murdering people, helped her get rid of the bodies and covered up for her. Never seemed to occur to her to report her to the police because "she's my sister"!!!! She murdered a number of men, ffs. It was silly.
I'm currently reading Murder at Morrington Hall, but some favorites: Rules of Murder
Murder at Archly Manor
Death at Wentwater Court
The Anatomist's Wife
Enter Second Murderer
A Beautiful Blue Death
The Monogram Murders
Picture Miss Seeton
Crocodile on the Sandbank
Murder With Peacocks
Anything Goes

Anything by Agatha Christie or Rex Stout, Elizabeth Peters or Donna Andrews. I have read the first two recently and will probably do an Andrews book next.

Yeah, sounds like a miss. Sounds like an interesting premise but one that’d be tricky to make believable.
I'm going to be reading a brand new book called Easter Egg by Jason Acar. It looks freaky, can't wait!
Book wrote: "Everyone seems to be talking about Tana French at the moment so that's next on my list! "
Not my favorite author. Read one book and could barely finish it.
Currently reading:A Murderous Inheritance by Issy Brooke
The Burial Circle by Kate Ellis
Then my copy of Who Speaks for the Damned by C.S. Harris will be coming from my local independent bookstore. Need to support our indies in these unusual times -- and at all times, really.
