I am actually reading an ongoing book being published for free on Wattpad. It is called Lines Crossed. It is a Fantasy-Romance written by Kat Wilkinson. her username on there is kitkatxkIt is really good. It's about this girl whose life is struck by a tragedy, and five years later she is following her dreams. Only to have them stolen by the author she works for. In her devastated state, it seems like she was going to commit suicide... I think. But before she can actually do it. Because of some freak storm, she is like sucked into her comic story. It seems really cool. I can't wait to find out what happens next.
Andis wrote: "Finishing 1984 in the following day or two, and then it's not decided yet, it's gonna be either Neuromancer or Altered Carbon."If you haven't read Neuromancer, I would recommend that one. Probably my favorite SF book of all time.
Just finished Dawn by Octavia Butler (Book 1 of the Xenogenesis trilogy). So good I devoured it! Want to start book 2 right away.
Andis wrote: "Finishing 1984 in the following day or two, and then it's not decided yet, it's gonna be either Neuromancer or Altered Carbon."Altered Carbon was great. He takes you into a world that's fully as crazy as Neuromancer, but it's much easier to stay grounded and understand what's happening even as the characters go in and out of cyberspace. Neuromancer is a bit of a challenge in that respect.
Just finished the Monarchies of God series by Paul Kearney. I'm planning to read Hyperion by Dan Simmons next. I read mostly SF and F these days.
Ayush wrote: "Just completed "Flowers of Algernon""If my memory serves me that started out as a novelette and then was expanded into a novel. Read the shorter version years ago.
Nicole wrote: "I just picked up the collection 'The New Voices of Fantasy' edited by Peter S. Beagle. I'm pretty much game to read anything he puts his name on!"indeed! Love P. Beagle!
I will read Science Fiction Romance Book THE EXTRA-TERRESTRIAL DELIVERY by AUTHOR SUDIPTA DAS. This Book has been nominated for the INTERNATIONAL DUBLIN LITERARY AWARD 2018.

Finishing up Tau Zero (Poul Anderson), Werewolves of London (Brian Stableford), Heroes in the Wind (Robert E. Howard). Then on to Moon Over Soho (second Rivers of London book) and I've also got Arcanum Unbounded (Brandon Sanderson) on my to-read pile.
I may try R.A. Salvatore this week. The book Homeland has been on my bookshelf for awhile. I don't normally read fantasy but I want to challenge myself by reading different genres.
Hello there!!!During this SciFi and Fantasy week, I would like to take this opportunity to distribute free copies of my book "Wishing for a Parallel World"
If you would like to give it a try, please message me your email ID. Would be glad to share the PDF copy with you.
Kind Regards
Arriah
Melissa is reading “Counter Clock World” by Philip K. Dick. Markus is reading “Clans of the Alphane Moon” by Philip K. Dick. We are both listening to “Burning Chrome” by William Gibson.
I'll be digging in with Peirce Brown's latest Dark Age tomorrow once I finish Tales of the Dying Earth while completing editing of the third in my Sci-fi series AI Insurrection Armageddon due out in September!
Sammy wrote: "I'm reading Mostly Harmless by Douglas Adams and Roadside picnic by Arkady & Boris Strugatsky this week. For starters... :)"Roadside Picnic is such an inspired novel. Eoin Colfer finished the Hitchiker's Guide series after Douglas' death. The book is called And Another Thing. Its pretty good in my opinion.
Starting Annihilation by Jeff VanderMeer and Sphere by Michael Crichton this week. I'm reading Artemis Fowl by Eoin Colfer at the moment. Great book!Oh, and not to mention continuing the Diskworld novels by Terry Pratchett afterwards.
Will be reading Alien Pets here shortly! Took it with me on my trip here in England. Going to go through these lists to add more sci-fi to my to-read! <3
I just finished "Raven Blue (Morning Star Book 2)" by J P Ishaq. This is the follow-up of his thrilling first of this series "In Spite of All" and I thoroughly enjoyed both books. I eagerly anticipate the third book which I hear is coming soon.
Hi, I'm a brand-new 6th grade ELA teacher this year. I'm trying to build my class library up this month before school starts and I'd love some suggestions of great sci-fi books for 6th graders, especially books that are graphic-novels/illustrated and are geared towards students with limited reading skills/history. Thanks so much!
Hi there, folks! This has been a pretty exciting week so far! But now, I'm wondering this: How do I become one of those Rising Stars of Science Fiction & Fantasy? I have a 6-part science-fiction and fantasy novel series, and I'm already writing Chapter III of Novel VII. I'll also need a promotional and advertising team to have my series reach more people and readers. If anyone can assist me on this, let me know. Thanks from Ross Eberle
Since every week is sci-fi week I just finished Seveneves today! Ambitious and interesting. Now I just started "The Rabbit Yard" (which some say is bit sci-fi), and got great reviews in Sweden.
I'm working on Warbreaker right now (Brandon Sanderson can do no wrong, apparently, because like all of his books I've read so far, I'm HOOKED). When I finish that, planning to start my ARC of The Grace Year!
Leyendo Inventos Infernales, la tercera parte de la saga "Máquinas mortales" y luego la cuarta y última parte de esta aventura.

Many of his original mss are there for researchers to use.
Gordon Johnson (author of the Landership series)
... and I am going to veg out (with enthusiasm) with my fave author of all time, Elizabeth Hunter, and re-re-read all of her wonderful 'Elemental' Series - every single one - and I'm just peeved that I can't access "The Irin Chronicles" anywhere without buying a Kindle. I have a Kobo and a Sony and refuse to shell out more just because Amazon are a pain in the butt ...
Currently reading Paladin of Souls by Lois McMaster Bujold. It's the sequel to Curse of Chalion. I'm almost done with it and it's a marvelous character study with a complicated low-magic level world that is slowly witnessing some unsavory demonic possessions. Bujold is never disappointing.
I'm currently reading SpecOps by Craig Alanson (Book 2 of Expeditionary Force) and my wife, Tiffani, is reading Golden Son by Pierce Brown (Book 2 of Red Rising).

Both series that are very popular with middle grade readers and fantasy. Also popular for that age is anything Raina Telgemeier, although not everything she writes is fantasy, I would still recommend it. They are all graphic novels and should be perfect for beginning readers especially.
Just finished The Churn after watching the first three seasons of The Expanse (covering the first three books of the series), plan to read all the remaining 6 books of the series as well as other connected books/ novellas by James S.A. Corey
I'm reading Kindred by Octavia Butler and Fool's Errand by Robin Hobb! I don't think I can finish Fool's Errand this week though...
TETHER by Jeremy Robinson! (ARC copy). OMG!! It's a good'un!! TETHER will be released in September 2019!TETHER Synopsis: In the middle of the night, an explosion rocks Cambridge, Massachusetts and wakes Saul Signalman from bed. Blue, ethereal light pulses into the sky. A Facetime call pulls him away from the view. It’s his wife, consumed in light, bidding him farewell. And then—she’s gone. In the dead of night, he races to his wife’s lab at the explosion’s core, but the building is gone.
His wife is gone.
All that remains is a test subject: Rain, a woman with no memory, whose eyes glow when she comes into contact with unseen forces, whose body lights up the night when monstrous nightmares descend on Boston, and whose creators will do anything to get her back.
Pursued by a rogue government agency, Saul goes on the run with the only person who might be able to explain what happened to his wife, reveal what kind of person she really was, and how to stop the otherworldly terrors wiping out cities.
