C. John Kerry Geetha wrote: "Just finished book 5 in the WoT series, The Fires of Heaven. Onto the next one - Lord of Chaos."

What does WoT stand for? I can only think of one series with those initials, World of Tiers by Philip Jose Farmer, but pretty sure that isn't the one you mean.

message 261: by Rachel (new)

Rachel Redhead the Faction Paradox series is always worth a punt if you want dark, often twisted, sci-fi story that's as liable to sink its teeth into you as you are into it...

message 262: by Rodica (new)

Rodica Gavril I am reading a surprising book (for me, at least) - 'Sweet Starfire' by Jayne Ann Krentz (Amanda Quick)

message 263: by Abii (new)

Abii Been reading the Brandon Sanderson Stormlight Archives, a fantastic series!

message 264: by Barbara (new)

Barbara Just finished Hollie Hutchins' Sold to the Royals: The Complete Series, RH ADULT romance set in the far future where men greatly outnumber women.
Starting Rebel by Debbie Cassidy, which is Book 2 of her Planet Athion/Survivor's Heart Series.

message 265: by James (new)

James 'The Hod King' by Josiah Bancroft is next up for me, then 'Vertigo' by GS Jennsen and 'Redemption's Blade' by Adrian Tchaikovsky. I was recently moderately disappointed by Peter Hamilton's 'Salvation' and very taken with Tchaikovsky's 'Children of Time'. Also enjoying the Red Rising series by Pierce Brown - I'm currently on 'Morning Star', the third volume.

message 266: by Imali (new)

Imali Just finished reading Fourth Fleet Irregulars series by S.J. Macdonald and The silver ships series by S. H. Jucha. 02 wonderful series.

message 267: by Joy (new)

Joy Lane Phigg & Clyde Save Breakfast by Jim Berkin I just finished this and LOVED IT!!! A fantastic book based on Quantum Physics. time travel, historical fiction, cooking (as it relates to history), mystery, and humor. I'm 62 and would recommend it to any curious mind. Good reads has it for middle school level. I'm a part time library assistant and substitute teacher, so I hope to put it in the hands of many... Note that I'm the first reviewer on good reads...???

message 268: by A. (new)

A. Kidd Stars with healing powers are falling from the sky! My new middle grade novel The Healing Star for grades 3-6, just came out recently. A great read for fantasy week!

message 270: by C. John (new)

C. John Kerry I would love to put this Dr,. Oma character on a rocket heading out into deepest space and which isn't coming back. Getting really ticked at the idiot(s) posting the above garbage.

Ruby Ridge C. John wrote: "I would love to put this Dr,. Oma character on a rocket heading out into deepest space and which isn't coming back. Getting really ticked at the idiot(s) posting the above garbage."

Yeah, me too. I think you speak for almost all of us.

message 272: by C. John (new)

C. John Kerry I also wonder about anyone who would use the word 'lynching' for a name n this day and age.

I'm from the deep south (GA) and we do not use that as a joke word

message 274: by C. John (new)

C. John Kerry Above message has been flagged with the following note: Endless, at least it seems like it, repetition of the same non-related nonsense.

message 275: by C. John (new)

C. John Kerry One question. Why the h--- have we been targeted for this nonsense? I have lost track of how many idiots have posted the same message multiple times, presuming there is more than one person doing this, and I remain to be convinced on that matter.

message 276: by Amber (new)

Amber It's clearly a fake account recently created for the sole purpose of spamming everyone. "Jacquelyn" has rated 150 books in less than a month but actually read 0. Probably a bot. I suggest blocking the user and unfollowing any comment thread where it shows up.

message 277: by C. John (new)

C. John Kerry Of the various treads I follow this is the only one affected, thankfully. Given the number of names this person has used, and the number of posts that have been made, someone needs to get a life.

message 278: by C. John (new)

C. John Kerry I wonder if the idiot who posts these annoying posts reads what is said about them. Probably not.

message 279: by C. John (new)

C. John Kerry This getting tiresome. I keep hoping for some intelligent conversation but all we are getting lately is this tripe. I just have to see the first sentence and I scroll to the bottom of the thread. If the poster thinks by posting multiple time we are reading this then they are stupider than I thought, In two words "doesn't work".

message 280: by Lori (new)

Lori Peterson A Veil for the Vanguard by Danny F Santos is so far is working out to be a highly adventures read.

message 281: by C. John (new)

C. John Kerry Lori wrote: "A Veil for the Vanguard by Danny F Santos is so far is working out to be a highly adventures read."

Yeah!! A post that isn't about some stupid spell caster .

message 282: by C. John (new)

C. John Kerry Can we make spamming a capital offence. Add it to the Mikado's list.

message 283: by C. John (new)

C. John Kerry Oh, brother. Someone needs to get a life and get off our board, all of you people who believe in this love spell nonsense.

message 284: by torin_kylara (new)

torin_kylara C. John wrote: "Oh, brother. Someone needs to get a life and get off our board, all of you people who believe in this love spell nonsense."

Yeah, it's getting real annoying. I'm thinking of unsubscribing to this thread.

I have flagged you as spam. Just thought you might like to know.
