Goodreads SFF Week 2019

If you need a break from the real world, this year's upcoming science fiction and fantasy novels guarantee a great escape. We've got heroes from other solar systems, alternate timelines, paranormal institutes, and mythical realms.

How did we create this list of off-world and otherworldly releases? We took an early look at the biggest titles coming out through the rest of the year and focused on what Goodreads members can't wait to read. Then we measured that anticipation by checking out how many times each title has been added to Want to Read shelves.

Below you'll find books from fresh new voices, including Alix E. Harrow, A.J. Hackwith, and Kassandra Montag, as well as books from beloved favorites like Margaret Atwood, Stephen King, and Erin Morgenstern. Add what catches your eye to your to-read list!
