If you don't know where to begin, we've rounded up some authors who've started to make a mark on the genre over the last few years. Some of these writers are new authors, and a couple have moved over from other genres. What they have in common is that they are quickly establishing themselves and earning fans.
For this list, we focused on authors who have recently published at least two popular books in the genre. Hopefully, this gives you plenty of reading material!

I wholeheartedly agree, and it's not just mystery writers. At least Ruth Ware's covers look completely different. I'll probably read her books first.
