So many good books to read...
flag
Riley Sager has been such an excellent surprise. Final Girls was terrific, such a compelling book. Can't wait to read the next two.
"Final Girls" is one of the few books I've ever rated 1 star. AT LEAST 30% of that was the main character baking! Horrible, boring and so disappointing. She took a great concept, ate it and shat it out again.

Welp, my tbr list just got longer. Some of these books sound really good. And I've only heard of three authors on this list.
The Joy of Erudition wrote: "I think some of those cover designers are the ones in a rut."I wholeheartedly agree, and it's not just mystery writers. At least Ruth Ware's covers look completely different. I'll probably read her books first.

I recommend John Sandford's Lucas Davenport & Virgil Flowers series. Quick read, great characters, smart plots!
